Oh I know what it means.

LiquidSoup, it really is a simple parkour!

 

1. Equip yourself with Ricochet and Wasp (Hornet will work too, I did it with both at M1 modifications)

2. Find a willing friend with Hornet to use as a ramp.

3. Circle the map with the screen fully zoomed out (Q key) until you see a platform outside/below the map.

4. Get on top of your Hornet friend. The Hornet now goes up against the wall, forming a ramp. Simply climb your friend and get to the top of the wall.

5. Locate the aforementioned platform. Carefully(!) jump down.

6. Turn around, and you will see it!

 

It is quite strange... I wonder what it means?

it actually takes more skill to use Hornet because it drifts.

 

imo though, having more speed and a very good grip (which the Wasp gives) is better than having a tiny bit more protection (Hornet may have much better protection at M0 and M1, but its got less protection at M2 - and M2>M3 takes longer than M0>M2).

Hornet has drift but it's pretty stable compared to wasp. Just the shape of it has its Centre mass much closer to the ground.

Hornet's drift will get you destroyed/flipped more than Wasp's instability... I guess.

 

I mean, with Wasp's grip, as long as you drive properly the instability shouldn't be a problem.

but no amount of *driving* skill will compensate Hornet's big turning radius when moving fast (due to drifting).

 

 

 

by the way, I planned to MU my Wasp M1's protection up till the 12th since I will be stuck with it till I rank enough for Wasp M2. having said that, do you guys think I should go on with MU'ing and max out the protection ? the amount of extra crystals I need to spend to max its protection MUs, minus the amount of crystals I will save when buying the discounted M2 (because I maxed one parameter) is only 16,014.

 

basically, its 114.6 Wasp M1 or 125.9 Wasp M1 for 16k more crystals.

Actually I'm having some great success with wasp m1 at lieutenant colonel. XD oh how I can't wait to m2 that hull.. :D

Personally I wouldn't MU the protection unless you are mainly using wasp as a flag capper. I use rail with wasp and having a bit more armor doesn't make much of a difference

Well, Isida is my main weapon so I guess it doesnt matter if im attacking flag or not as I will be close to enemies during engagements.

 

Im asking if others think the extra protection will be well worth 16k crystals because I am not sure as I am literally in the middle of MUing (12 out of 25). should I stop at 12 or go full MU for M2 discount (basically costs 16k crystals only because I subtracted the bonus I will get from the M2 discount).

^^ Stop MUing. It'll serve its purpose just fine until M2, which is cheap. You probably will lose crystals in this case if you fully MU.

^ Since you just unlocked Corrosion, yes. However, I'm getting Corrosion at the sale and I'm currently as Third Lieutenant so... maybe you should wait. Get all your guns and hulls first, unless you have lots of time to save.

^ Corrosion is about 35k, but you just unlocked Tundra! You ranked already? That was quick! My WO3 became a WO4 today too...

So Corrosion or Tundra. Tundra costs about the same price BTW.  Corrosion is pretty much the perfect long-range paint (for your rank at least). Thunder, Railgun, and Shaft, it's the perfect paint for me. Tundra is the paint to get if you only care about railguns. With 30% protection, it works very well! Great for light tanks, and put it on a Mammoth and Railguns will not be able to stop you. So it's your pick, massive protection against one common turret or fairly equal yet effective (especially with MUs) protection against all 3 long range guns.

 

My next M2 unlocks at Captain (4 Daimond) unless I get M2 Isida inbetween.

I just got it m2, it is really fast, but takes a lot of skill to drive. I am working on my skills with it for rail and I flip over too often. :) My favorite hull. i use it with m2 fire and m2 rail

I was playing rail and wasp on highlan, posted the scoreboard in the Rail discussion section. Just played another game on highland with wasp and rail against only WO. I had like a 9.8 D/L ratio. I'll post it here in a little bit.

Here it is, I joined in pretty late so my score i'snt very high on the boards but I managed to get a pretty nice D/L ratio with Wasp and Rail facing all Warrant Officers.
