Hello everyone!

 

This is my first post, I waited to have a little experience in game before writing. I hope I waited long enough :)

First of all I apologize in advance for my English as it is not my first language.

 

Anyway! I’ve been using wasp since the beginning; I really like speed and small size. Moreover, with the right paint and some MU, it can be also a little tough (but just a little).

 

What I don’t like about wasp is its availability in ranking. Let me explain myself:

I currently have wasp M1. M1 is available quite soon, but we can say that every M1 item (hulls and turrets) are available soon because ranking is fast at the beginning. The problem is the long gap between wasp M1 and M2. You can buy wasp M2 when you’re colonel. Until then, every M2 turret and hull (with the exception of Smoky and Titan M2) has already been available.

 

So I will have to fight against M2 turrets and hulls with my M1 wasp for a very long time. Of course not everybody buys M2 as soon as they are available, but I guess that many players will.

 

At this point maybe it is better to buy hornet M2 (available very soon), so to use both wasp M1 and hornet M2 depending on the map.

 

Is my reasoning correct? Did I miss something? I’d like to know your opinion about wasp availability and the comparison between wasp M1 and hornet M2 (I don’t have hornet in my garage, not even M0).

yeah it is a long gap btw m1 and m2, but it certainly is very doable! :) if you're a rail gun sniper who's good at hit and run tactics and has good situational awareness, the long gap btw m1 and m2 certainly gives you a serious advantage when u do get m2. 

 

so my advice would be: don't bother buying hornet if you already like wasp. it can only improve your skill and save you lots of crystals

could just use a medium hull which unlocks earlier rather than having 2 light ones..

@ iionhart: you are right; that’s what I do most of the time. I enjoy very much sniping or healing in defense with isida M2. I always loved these roles in FPS, since Team Fortress in late ‘90s :) So I guess that I will keep on using wasp M1, as long as I can get good scores and help the team.

 

@ Chameleos: I could try, maybe I will, but I am aware that low speed for my way of playing is annoying.
