Interesting things:

 

The Universal Carrier, a World War II era armored tracked vehicle, bears a slight resemblance to Wasp, mostly in the tracks; note their shape. Also, the flamethrower used on the flame tank variants was called "Wasp".

There's also another light tank that resembles Wasp, this time more so:

This is the M2 Light Tank, made in the U.S. between World War 1 and World War 2. Ignoring the double turret on the top, the hull itself is very similar, don't you think?

 

I'm wondering if you can find more hints of historical tanks in the other hulls we have in Tanki.
