Let's discuss Wasp!

Wasp is my fav hull. In the start, i hated it but i grew to love it. It beats hornet at m2 and m3. the extraspeed is better than hp. After all, hornet is a light hull, so how does a little hp matter? I know hornet is preffered because in the beggining it it better and it has extra hp, BUT sorry to be blunt, but_it_plain_sucks. Thank you

Hornet has its merits as well. It's more resistant to impact force (as you'll often see against Hammer, Smoky and Railgun users) and has higher survivability if you're taking fire in combat.

 

In addition, health is still important with light hulls. If I were to make a light hull that ran at 20 MPH but had 1 health point, that wouldn't be automatically better than your Wasp, no? There's a reason why people who use Wasp still micro-upgrade the health.

 

I'd prefer a Wasp over a Hornet in general, but Hornet isn't necessarily useless either.

hornet is so overrated

i can easily destroy a hornet m3 with my FREEZE M1

i cant easily destroy a wasp m3 because its so fricken fast

WO5s have the ability to play with Gismos..... WO4 up to Major General or something like that

 

You can dodge some shots, but you don't have invis hax. But 30HP isn't going to protect you from so much that most claim, but that speed can help you not take fire, and at least not slide around when running away (And flipping is way cooler then getting sideways or on your turret)

 

Hornet isn't bad, but I've found better :)

Way too fast for me at M1... I flip over whenever I take a sharp turn  <_<

once on silence at red base gold drooped one the ramp at the end but i had wasp smoky and nitro all m1s i ran up and over the goldbox and then self destructing :( so anoying

Wasp takes skill to drive, if you are not being successful with it, it means you are not driving the right way.

Looking at your rank I assume you are comparing Hornet M1 with Wasp M1, yes Hornet M1 is better but Wasp M2 just owns.

Nah just face the facts, looking at the stats of both it is clear enough that Hornet is slightly better.

However with MU's Wasp gets much better since M2 unlocks very late.

A year ago I would argue about M1 Hornet being better then M1 Wasp. But since MU's are here, Wasp gets better HP then Hornet. 10 steps (I think) and you got 112HP with Wasp for just about.... 3k. Good deal I would say

Never let a Railgun hit you at a 90 degree angle *If you can't avoid this one, shoot your turret (if it has knockback) as the rail hits you, and you might just do a 360 .-.*

Don't stop when you get hit

Turn away from the side that you get hit on

Donxt expose your sides, and when a rail is charging at you specially in med-close range, move forward-backward so it's harder for him to aim your turret. If you're at close range, go push him and mess up his aim. I'm telling you this both as a wasp and rail user :P
