Well I'm glad you admit that..Of course, it's not a fair comparison to compare a player with m1s against a player with m2s.  When you get m2 smoky and m2 viking, we can play some battles together.   :) After you see me in battle and I see you, then we can discuss tactics and such. :)

Im sure after my next rank up i will be able to battle with you. Dude we could both be isida hornets and non stop cap the flag, healing each other as we go :D

Well, I can actually battle with your rank right now.  But I don't have isida.  At my rank it forces me to buy isida m2 and I don't have 60k crystals just to throw around like that. However, if you want to use your isida and just heal me, I'm game. :D

I don't understand why anyone even uses hornet. Wasp has more speed, is a smaller target, and has a better turret placement. And if you are under fire with either one, you are dead anyway.

I understand why you think wasp is better and I won't disagree with what you said about it being smaller, faster, and having better turret placement, but I do believe hornet is by far better.  Hornet's biggest edge is its skidding effect.  It is really useful when trying to shake someone off your tail or knocking off a long range gun's aim on you (mainly shaft or rail).It is also just plain fun to skid around in circles on different maps.  If you are a firebird or freeze user and circle strafe your opponents frequently, it is just easier to use Hornet's skid effect rather than circling with your hull, turning with your turret, and trying to press the space-bar at the same time.  

 

Hornet also has better stability and balance when going off high ledges or getting drilled by a high-impact force weapon.  Its extra armor is much more useful then a little bit of speed, especially considering Hornet still has a great deal of speed.

 

I would only use wasp if my only goal was to get the fastest hull.  Thats my take on wasp vs hornet  B)

Eh? Hornet doesn't have drift anymore, which makes it better for circling with freeze.  Also, it turns and maneuvers faster, which makes it better for getting away with the flag. Wasp is hard to use because the recoil from your own turret and the impact force of other turrets knock it around too much at higher ranks.

You are close to the M2 ranks, and most liekly you have not many crystals as you have purchased sooo many M1s.

Save up hard now, to be able to get an M2 combo.. and then use this combo until you reach the M3s

Else you run out of crystals for sure and find your self in higher ranks fighting all M2 and some M3s, while you have no good equipment.

I like this tank, it's very fast and manoeuvrable, the right tank to steal flags. The only problem is the stability..

What the heck is wrong with m2 wasp? Did they nerf it? I tried using it on Monte Carlo yesterday and it couldn't jump the gap. I tried multiple times to negate the probability of just plain bad driving. I could jump the gap easily before! Can someone confirm if they are experiencing a similar issue?

Wasps and Hornets have been made slower (I think not M0, but all above).

 

My Wasp M3 can not even jump on monte Carlo any more (and some other guy was so happy that his Mx Viking could do the jump on Nitro).

 

Wasp is was less agile now (less turning acceleration) and therefor the turning feels spongy. The turninng speed is "ok" but it takes longer to get into the turn, or to turn from a left turn into a right turn. Overall Wasp is waaay less fun now, which is very very sad.

 

#this was done a couple of months ago, and was the reason why I exchanged my M2 wasp into an M3 WaspRailKit.

well it's not god, who's to blame for that.

Most likely the usage of Nitros was too low, and so Wasps and Hornets have been slowed down

Yeah, you used to be able to jump-over in monte carlo without nitrous, now you can't.  I have a 50/50 MU wasp M1 in another account and I double checked when I read your post.  Bummer!!
