Both ones are great. However, people think that the top speed is the best parameter which should be taken into account, but obviously they are wrong.

Hornet is a lot more stable than wasp, and so, hornet has less possibilities to get flipped.

By analyzing ALL parameters, we could find out that Hornet has a higher reverse speed, and a higher turning speed, and they are also very important while driving your hull.

having spent 1300 hours playing on a wasp, nothing can beat wasp's flexibility when it comes to anything in this game. People just need to buy a keyboard that allows you pressing several buttons at the same time, and then you get this:

my advice: buy hornet first, play with it, then buy wasp so you can absolutely fall in love with it!

In M2/3/4 Wasp is way to slow and too less agile. the turning acceleration is simply too low.

If a wasp is ment to live on it's agility, then you find the reason why they always die so fast in higher tiers.

Sad thing..

Those M3 players have a far better aim and prediction.. it will be killed.

The only thing that will be hard, is to control the Wasp M4 on Nitro (if the Nitro stays as strong as today).

But this is something, where Wasp pilots will get used too.

You also dont excell with Magnum or Striker on one day, so it simply takes time.

Is this a factual statistic or derived from personal experience?

If it is the former, please tell me where you got that information, if it is widely accessible and if there is other similar data that is available (e.g. most popular rank, most popular turret, most popular paint)

The data was actually given in a former v_log, where they said hornet was the most popular hull, while rail gun, the most popular turret.

Well, I used to play with hornet when my keyboard could press only three buttons at once, It was impossible to play with wasp also using the turret. Then I got myself a new one which presses up to 6 buttons at once, so it really helped me in the end.

"presses up to 6 buttons at once"... how does this work.  Or... what does this do?

cool things :)

I regularly press 5 buttons at once:

2 to move the hull

1 to move the turret

1 to move the camera

1 to shoot

I just recorded this example:

people forget how important the camera is, that's why I regularly get called out for hacking due to unreal shots.

Ah... I get it.

So your old keyboard you could not circle while turning your turret and firing... interesting. Guess mine was fine because I can at least do that.

what finger do you use to change camera?

with my left hand, i have my forefinger on spacebar, middle finger on x, next finger on z, and then i can't reach Q and E with the remaining fingers

changing camera is very useful, but i'm not able to do it while pressing spacebar..

when my middle finger is on X, I use ring finger on Q and the index finger on E

when my ring finger is on Z, I use the pinky finger (smallest/thinnest one) on Q and the index finger on E

I remember when I first started doing this, it was very hard. But it made my gameplay much more interesting, so I kept doing it. Now, it all happens automatically without thinking about it at all.

I think I do the same as you just with the page up and down keys, people always ask me why I change camera angle so much; I believe it makes the best players.

Based on the person playing, it depends.

Wasp has a higher speed, but less HP at M0 and M1, but is faster with more health at M2. at M3, Wasp is faster but has the same health as Hornet. Wasp is also lighter than Hornet and smaller, of course. If you play xp/bp, Wasp is harder to use since you can easily be flipped. But, on the other hand, you can juke your enemies easier. Juke means to make them miss at a very close range. Say you speed right pass them as they fire. Railgun can't turn fast enough to account for the sudden movement. Wasp can be better for capturing flags because it's harder to hit, being faster and smaller. Also, having more hp than Hornet at the M2 level, Wasp is pretty OP. But the fact it is easily flipped, pretty much evens it out.

I'm a low-level player, but I have quite the knowledge in the game. Yesterday I was browsing through the MU section of Hornet and Wasp and noticed that Wasp has the advantage in Speed and Protection. And Wasp is much smaller and harder to hit than Hornet. So why is Hornet more prefered than Wasp?

keyboard.png

is very much ghosting-proof on my Laptop, and allwows me to operate the turret, camera and firekey at the same time. (cam & fire is needed for Twins, Fire, Freeze, ...)

I feel bad each time i see a wasp in a battle i am in, they get massacred by a few shots some of them understands

That wasp shouldn't be in same dm battle as a heavy hull and either change there hull or leave , other are stubborn

They love to spend the whole battle re-spawning.

Some players only have wasp so changing to another hull is not an option. Leaving the battle means that they will lose out on battle fund.

That's true..

Since the Wasp was ripped of speed and agility they are pretty much lost in M3 battles.

(Wasps are competative in M1, partly M2.. as the enemies aim is not yet as perfect as in M3 ranks.. and the firerate of the enemy turrets is not that high. But in M3+ they are pretty much lost.. except they use to drug a lot or the map is that wide + low populated, that they can chose paths wil low enemy contact)
