Hmm, I might be one of them ^_^

I didnt get a chance to test out the 'Drifting' thing that all of you hornet users speak about, but the wasp's speed advantage.. an entire +2 speed is ALOT. An even bigger jump than previous, with the old physics. I think wasps abililty to evade more shots, and out-run hornet+short range weapon users will make it the top dog of light hulls. (Of course that is, if you can master manueverability in the wasp)

Sometimes it'll be harder to avoid shots because the braking is no longer as abrupt with the new physics, there is more inertia carrying you forward a bit more than there is bounce.

I noticed that as well, but I certainly don't think it will be 'harder' due to that fact. I think it will call for a different style of evasion. Wasp can now turn very sharply... And for those railgun+wasp 'peek-a-boo' shots, you just put your breaks on slightly before you reach the edge of a wall that you're using for cover, so that the inertia just barely carries your turret past the edge of the wall/obstacle. I doubt thatll be too difficult getting used to. Due to the fact that wasp is even less stable now under impact of enemy fire, it might flip over like crazy, even moreso though... I love the changes of speed though, it means the game will be far more fast paced, and more skill is required to master everything. It will further seperate the noobs from the skilled players, so they can shine more.

wasp is even less stable now

I think one of the problems is that people have the natural reactions to try to stop their tank from flipping. Well, if you're going to flip anyway, what's the point of trying to stop it. People should think of other ways. That's where this fact comes in. Go with the flow. Instead of trying to stop getting yourself flipped, let yourself flip. (Even the current Wasp, which is supposedly more stable than the upcoming one) can flip two-times when shot. So it'll be even easier. When you flip 2x, double negative. You'll land positive- on your wheels. And the enemy will be dumbfounded and on cooldown while you cap a flag. (Looks very classy/stylish. )

After the new physics, Hornet will definitely be deemed as the better lighter hull for most.

it should, hornet will be fun to use and in my opinion really useful.

Eh, but with Hornet's drifting ability, I find Wasp to be more fast-paced gameplay since it has sharper turn ability.
