Microupgrades - are they FAIR?

So far, I have spend 60 minutes trying to upgrade a paint to the max. 3/4 of all upgrades were unsuccessful. This says a lot about microupgrades, doesn't it?

The last 3-6 microupgrades alone costs more then all of the previous ones.

All I can get is the Russian test server (even though I chose English test server 4) and it doesn't have micro upgrades. :/

Micro-upgrades, in my opinions are only worth upgrading for the first few times. The costs greatly outweigh the benefits near the end.

They just seem to be a crystal sink atm.

Not to mention the extremely low chance of success. Between 5 and 20% near the end.

I said it everywhere I could and will say it here: you don't need to upgrade everything up to the maxumum. Choose one stat and get it to the max, you will get a discount. Learn where to stop, that's not an obligatory thing to max all the stats.

I think it`s a case of careful tactical Ug & game play  

know your limits & if it looks like you could start losing crystals & the risk is greater than actually gaining a further UG or getting a refund in crystals then simply stop & only as said UG  the most important necessary modifications of your hull/weapon. 

Sure if you wish to UG further you can but then it becomes a lottery but like 1 you limit yourself like for all kinds of betting.

 

But as the Ug are only in their 1st initial testing phase & no doubt there are going to be more before the final product is launched it`s best not to assume that what is seen on the test is going to be the actual ug feature but personally I think that if your a skilled fighter no matter how much an ug someone else makes that will not trouble a seasoned pro if you THINK TACTALLY ;)

it's not fair becouse the waiting time to use that weapon is too long. most of us has only one m3 weapon. this suks

you gave us 99 000 000 crys in test server and after maybe 50 upgrades it all went in the air

This is a useless update because everyone will have mico-upgrades and then people will want to have an advantage and then buy crystals and then TTT (the Tanki team) will make money so the mico-upgrades will benifit the tanki staff.

I also think this topic is useless, because microupgrades can't be categorized as "fair" and "not fair". Is the milk price in your grocery shop fair? It's a SHOP that we're buying from, and there is no FAIR. If you don't like the price (crystals+risk) don't buy it, no one is stopping you.

 

Is the price of your next weapon upgrade fair? It's not fair or unfair. It's just there.

After I have about 4/7 of the stat completely microupgraded, I probably would stop.
