Paints are toooooooo expensive.

Extreamly.

 

And hard to get some nice combo, all the time hard to get this usefull and flexible...

 

They looks - like made to be problemed :)

any of them give nice flexible shild and protection,

all cost a lot, and to be full covered - You need - some of them...

It cost...

 

Ligke - thing to thing :) when You play for nounths, years

some goal to get, target - to not be bored of what You got...

Not really, decent amount of time saving for a good paint means you can get a good one relatively quickly.

There is a hole in the paint system (or paint store, whatever). There is none but 1 paint that has protection against combo rail and at least 1 close-range weapon, that is picasso, which protects against rail, freeze and more. So in CTF if I use rail or firebird or freeze, especially (esp.)  I drug, they will have to choose :

 

1. get prodigy. Then just close your eyes to die under close-range weapon, firebird or freeze for instance, esp. when they drug.  :)

2. get irbis or inferno. Then just close your eyes to die under the mighty rail m3 shots, esp. when they drug. :)

3. get picasso. then just close your eyes and die under the mighty firebird.

 

With just firebird and rail, I can deal with the whole paint system.

 

Thunder And freeze are common in CTF, esp. silence. And combo thunder+close-range weapon paints are common. So are combo shaft+close-range paints.

 

I especially enjoy that when I have a blue twin opponent who would rather die keeping the flag than chasing me. :) Silence are notorious with close-range. :)

what paint should i get? i was thinking alein but with the isida nerf im not so sure.

 

i use hornet/smokey and am an all around player

 

im gonna get m1 railgun soon

 

what paint would be best? im not gonna spend a  ton. right now i have mary.

 

or should i just save the cry and keep the mary?

I was considering the Paint Kit as well, a good investment for getting Prodigi early though you should have some M2 Turrets and Hulls in your garage before buying it.

I have 5 m2 turrets and 1 m2 hull. (I am saving for hull kit atm) So I'm pretty covered as far as m2's are concerned. I'm probably gonna focus on the m2 paint kit when I don't have so many m2's to buy.

i decided the paints i want for my gismo account(i will work hard in summer to get them! :wub:

emerald,savana,taiga,clay and zeus

together with the paints i have hohloma,inferno,picasso and some cheap ones,i will change have paints with major protection for every weapon!!

smoky: needle 48%

ricochet: spark 33%

freeze: rustle 20%

thunder: rustle 32%

shaft: needle 25%

firebird: loam 36%

twins: spark 10%

isida: rustle or in love 10%

I don't have paints so many strong paints for high protective, you buy crystals that's why you have a lot of strong protective paints.

freeze: rock 18%

I've got alien when I was about your rank during a 50% sale. Been using it ever since and yeah it's fine :)

 

THough, paints really arent that useful in general at lower ranks... .I mean a total of 50% protection isnt that great when you consider that there are 9 differnet guns. Just save and upgrade a hull

I wouldn't get the paint kit. You're paying 200k basically for prodigi.... You can get it 100k during sale instead when u reach that rank. Cedar is fine.

 

I'm still using alien and it works for me :)

I like the early kits, since you can get a lot for a little. I wish I'd seen 'em before I got my thunder, viking, swamp, wasp, forester.... you get the idea.
