Yes but taiga is almost three times more expensive than spark and I don't really need so much isida protection.

I don't see why people bother with freeze protection, once you get caught you are dead either way... If anything it just means he can taunt you and run around you for longer while you are helplessly cursing behind the computer.

I can see your point with a heavy tank, but say with freeze hornet you can turn fast enough if you turn both hull and turret, so the paint lets you beat other freeze hornets

That is very rarely possible...may be when you encounter a freeze face to face...if he gets to your back..you are done even with inferno..

Hmmm maybe :p I dunno it gives you an extra few seconds to live anyway which could make the difference

 

With a heavier hull and a freeze paint, you wouldn't have to worry about it. It would take more than a full charged freeze to kill you

 

Besides, the point shouldn't be 'if a freeze gets to your back'.... That's a matter or skill not whether the paint is good ;) I'm pretty sure if an isida or firebird or any weapon got to your back you'd have trouble ;)

Hey tanki I protest.

I have the savana paint and it was a fairly well paint for smoky,...

But next the recently rebalance, it is lower !!

So It's Not a good paint to buy NEXT the rebalance !!

Well having a freeze at your back and having other weapons are completely different story...atleast you can turn back and confront the fire or isida..unless u r drugger, even a mammoth-inferno will be pwned..once they are out of charge they can just wait for 2-3 sec of freezing time and go on like that..off course skill makes a difference here..

Depends on map, and of course what weapons there are :p inferno can be great, depending on the situation!

 

Inferno wouldn't be ma first choice on a large map like serphrov, but on a smaller one like silence, island, it's a great paint.

sure its our personal opinions...i usually play with my other account which is brigadier and i find freezes super annoying especially because i am primarily railgunner...i also use freeze myself (not upgraded though) sometimes and its pure delight at low rank battles..and off course inferno is there for a reason, but i usually play ctf in silence or sandbox, and what i saw, even after recent rebalance if there is an able freeze at enemy base, forget capturing flags... :angry:

YOu should buy paints with high protection in one thing (tundra, cedar) but in the highest levels some paints have a lot of protectin for a lot of turrets.Id recommend one that has a higher protection of one turret than one that has little protection from a lot of turrets. THis is because it wont save youre life if it is like 10% or 15% proteciton, but if it is like 30 or 40, then it will.
