Rustle has good protection against Thunder that is 34% and it's cheap as well compared to Emerald and unlocks earlier.

It's freeze protection is also decent which is 20%. It can surely help you survive longer against a freeze

Emerald on the other hand has 42% protection against thunder which is more than enough to get protection against thunder

and 26% against twin which will be useful when facing a twin 1 on 1 and 10% against rail can still protect you slightly

and it's a M3 paint which you can use till Gizmo but the problem here is that the rank it unlocks is a little bit later on (Major General).

So if you can wait till then and you are sure that you will have enough crystals by that time then you can go for emerald

otherwise rustle is your friend

The rise of Spark!

This once useless paint has turned into a vital implement on the battlefield. Spark used to be described as 'a useless paint for aesthetics' which only 'looked pretty on the battlefield'.

However, as we all know, after the rebalance, ricochet became one of the best loved guns in our garages. Therefore, we need protection against it! We've all seen it, haven't we. That M2-M2 or even M3-M3 has come round the corner, wearing...

DRAGON (22% Ricochet only) 3000

Well, when push comes to shove, what other choices do you have?

Moonwalker (22%) 3000

In Love (5%) 15500

Desert (28%) 23000

Spark (33%) 79500

Hohloma (20%) 108500

Loam (10%) 102500

Urban (5%) 115000

Savanna (15%) 129000

Irbis (16%) 143500

Taiga (20%) 210000

Needle (20%) 210000

Clay (50%) 250000

Therefore, if you want good ricochet protection, at a decent price and that is available at a low rank, Spark is for you! However, those lucky ones who got moonwalker have got the best deal yet. One of the best ricochet protecting paints at an amazing low price.

What do you think about the rise of Spark, and ricochet as well? Post your comments below!

Thanks to SpiderPig1 for reminding me about Moonwalker!

See you on the battlefield!

It has the looks, but it isn't what every one likes.

33% rico is okay, but the price isn't worth it. That's why ppl prefer dragon paint, it's 76500 crystals cheaper.

15% fire is not much, unless you use freeze/ firebird and rely on the protection to let you win 1 v 1 duels

10% twins is not much, but you won't buy this expensive paint for that much crystals

Conclusion: stick with dragon (and MU's) and save crystals for better stuff

When you talked about after the rebalance, you meant the new-balance, right?

Moonwalker

Plus, if you were smart enough to get Moonwalker (22% Rico), it diminishes the need for other Rico-Protective paints while looking good. It also was cheap!

However, I still agree with you that Spark has staged a comeback, that it looks cool, that it's a good, efficient paint, and that Rico has been bumped extremely high since the new-balance.
