what paint should I save for, storm?

if you dont buy crystal, then it is better to save crystal everyday till you can unlock first m2 combo,

then it is time to buy a paint, early paint give nearly no protection,

only 30% protection paint are good to have.

but I would recommend safari or Forester for your rank, they are good in a long run than other paints.

Um; without paints Tanki wouldn't be Tanki.

For my rank, Swash is ideal while Storm/Mary are average paints

Yea paints add variety to the game, any gun can be very weak and your paint can make a big difference on how long you survive enemy damage

Should i get tundra or corrosion, bearing in mind that there has just been a thunder and shaft sale and most people would've bought those weapons?

I own Corrosion on my alt and I have Digital, which is very similar to Tundra. The huge Rail protection will be more effective and noticeable than the small amounts on Corrosion..

You can either MU Corrosion or get Sandstone... up to you and your wallet ;) If you really can't stand Railguns, tho, then get Tundra

Is rustle a good paint? I'm almost a major, and I want a paint a little more high-end than swash  :P

Rustle is an excellent and on of the best paints you could use in CTF matches at the m2 level and possibly the m3 level if you MU it a little bit. It provides protection 10% isida, 20% freeze, and a hefty 32% thunder. These 3 turrets are one of the most dangerous enemy turrets in CTF battles (especially the freeze). No doubt rustle is a better paint than swash. Another paint  you may or may not want to consider buying, although I recommend you save your crystals for upgrading your turrets, is Loam. Firebird is one of the most powerful short range turrets one could use (and effectively) in CTF maches especially when a double power is one. There have been some cases where I'm using my m2 firebird and I see a clump of 6-8 enemy tanks and by using one double power, I'm able to destroy at least 5. Since smart cool downs came into effect, people are drugging a lot more than they used to. So, Loam would definitely prepare you for that drugging firebird (like me :P ) in the instant that you come face to face with one in battle.

Hope I helped :)

What a peculiar rank to stop using Corrosion. I'm probably thinking about ONLY the resistances Corrosion has.

A good rank to stop using corrosion I think is your rank just because you can buy so many other paints that are much better than corrosion. For example, if you look at sandstone, it provides protection from the SAME turrets as corrosion does, except sandstone increases protection by around 5%. At your rank, you also want to get a paint that will provide a pretty decent protection (30+%) from any turret u see to be the most dangerous in battle. Electra, Spark, Digital, Rustle, and Loam are also good paints to consider getting. But ultimately, you want to start transitioning to an m2 paint now that you pretty much fight in the m2 battles. Corrosion is very effective among m1s but gets weaker and weaker as you go up in rank.

Hope I helped :)

Inverno or jade, or spark?

Edit: inverno is the portugueese name... Uh, the black and white paint with 38% shaft

Note: Inverno is the portugueese name for the paint "Winter."

The overall decision comes down to whether you want protection from shaft or protection from ricochet. Unless you are battling in a large map such as Lost Temple and Highway, Shaft is not going to be as apparent or common as ricochet will. Of course, there will be that 1 or 2 shaft players in silence and superhov, but they normally are not the most problematic issue you would have to face. Based on your rank, I would recommend getting spark just because m2 ricochet is a very effective weapon during the ranks in which it's unlocked. So, spark would be the better weapon to go with in my opinion. However, for protection from shaft, Jade would be the better paint to go with. I mean why settle for second? Jade also protects you form smoky and thunder, not to mention that if MUd, Smoky and Jade can be 50% protection.

Hope I helped :)

Thanks so much man. I now know what to buy for Christmas  :)  As a freeze player, rustle should be great for outmatching my rivals and tanking hits from those annoying thunders  ;) I'll definitely consider Loam too!

I have the combo twins and mammoth m2 and was wondering what is the best paint for my combo? I have thought about loam but I wanted to get everyone's feedback.

Loam is a very good paint to use only if you will be defending in a not so exposed area. Any long range turret, such as shaft, thunder, rail, and smoky could easily take you out if they are a good distance away and you have a portion of your hull exposed to them. Another thing to think about is firebird m3 is unlocked at the commander level, so you may not see too many if your battling in battles of your rank that cap at Field Marshalls. In my experience, you see players at the Brigadier-Marshal rank using early m3s or higher m2s. I rarely see any generals using m2 fire. Also, once m3 fire is available, Zues is unlocked just one rank later, and that provides an immediate 50% protection.

Just a few things to consider. I personally wouldn't buy loam. Hope I helped :)
