If I were you, I wouldn't buy a paint until you at least ranked up 3-4 more times. The reason being is the paints that are available to you right now are best effective at the m2 level. Once you reach Warrant Officer 5, the paints that start to become unlocked in your garage will become more suitable and much more effective in battle than paints that you buy right now.

 

I would not recommend buying a paint that predominantly protects you from shaft unless you yourself are a major shaft player. Here are a few paints that provide decent protection from isida and Rico:

 

Isida: Electra, Rustle.

 

Rico: Desert, Spark, Hohloma.

How long will Tundra and Cedar last? If they won't last forever, I plan to get Digital and Emerald.

Thanks u helped a lot, but I want to purchase one for the christmas sale. I think I will be WO4 by then so I guess It will be desert,but if protection starts popping up for hammer I will buy it causes now that turret has become my enemy

There are a lot more shafts now, so I would get Dirty; but if you are looking for protection from Isida, get Electra.

Corrosion.

It is a pretty decent paint. It is best suited for a midfielder or a sniper. If you are one of these tables, corrosion is for you. Also, corrosion has better stats than alien. True, alien has 24% isida protection, but it has 5% thunder and freeze protection, which is insignificant.

 

I still use corrosion. It will be useful for many ranks.

I would go with Digital. Spark is good against ricochet, but ricochet disappears from the battle seen among Brigadiers and returns at commander, which is quite a large gap. Rustle is excellent against thunder, but emerald is available much sooner than the leading railgun defending paint (which is prodigi) so if you are looking for a thunder defending paint, you would be better off  waiting for emerald. When buying paints, always consider who will be your most common enemy as well as if there is always a better paint available to you than the one you are considering to get now.

Yep, Imo opinion it isnt eveb hard to reach generallismo without protection. But always remember good protection helps ^_^

Picasso is the only paint that has freeze and rail protection at once (at least now, dont know if new paints will change that). Shaft diesnt really bother me, but even if it did, it wouldnt change much if i was using a light hull. But if youre thinking about picasso because of thunder and freeze protection, id go with rustle. Its a more solid paint and actualy overpowered for a major.

 

Prodigi isnt that good. Its just really popular. I have clay, with some micro upgrades its a way better paint than prodigi since it can be micro upgraded to 50% against 3 turrets (some of the most used ones). Prodigi only gives a good protection against thunder and rail. Other protections are just a joke for such a paint.

 

My choice from the two youre thinking about would be picasso, but im awfuly happy with clay.
