Is Spark good? I play with m2 Ricochet and m1 Titan (about to get m2 at rank up) I mostly play on Polygon CP's... If not than im a flag guarder on Noise or Silence battles...

spark is good against rico and it gives your tank a nice look but if you can wait and earn some crystals i say go for rustle it will be very useful in higher ranks :)

I was also considering that paint, as I do have a problem with thunders, but I just simply don't like the look lol... It looks like puke or something in my opinion...

don't go for the looks, rustle is good against thunder and freeze, two of the MP turrets after the recent update.

Go Winter. Your thunder problem is typical of rico users, and Winter also shuts down shafts which is another big enemy of Rico.

Sandstone is also an idea, it is cheaper than winter, its works against rails and shafts , and Thunder

I am looking forward to buy Rustle when I reach the rank because Thunder is really OP now. The only problem for me is that it is very expensive, even in a 50% sale it still costs more than 45k crystals. I am also afraid that when I reach the rank for Rustle, the parameters of turrets and hulls would have gone through another re-balancing; I might need something else by then. I bought Python paint about 3 months ago for protection from Freeze, especially in CFT battles. At that time, quite a number of Freeze were running around the battlefields. However, after the lastest re-balancing, number of Freeze in battles is drastically reduced. I spent my crystals on something that is not necessary today. What a waste !

in higher rank battles we always have 2,3 freezers in 1 team :) it's not a waste.

Oh I see. So I will have chance to use it :) . Thanks for the info.

Yeah and thanks to Forester i can survive 3 railgun (m1) shots. I think even 2 m1 shots and 1 m2 shot.

After Foster paint take Tundra.!!! Both are really nice Railgun protection paint..!!

At this point Jade is looking like a good choice. It's one of the very few paints with both Hammer and Thunder protection, the two most dangerous guns in the mid-field range. Sure the percentage for Thunder is small, but a few MUs here would make quite a difference. Smoky protection is also great. Shaft protection not as much, since Shaft is a lot rarer these days, but as somene who uses Wasp a lot, I'm not complaining about that.

lol I was considering Winter, but it's out of my price range... I like how it looks though.

Sandstone is cheaper, but a lot of people use it ever since that kit came out with M2 Rico and M2 Dictator, with sandstone paint... I already useing Rico don't want to look like I bought the kit XDDD

Hey guys I am considering buying rock paint during the paint sale on June 5. Twins has become much stronger now after balance update and I see it often in the small to medium sized maps that I play.

Should I do it? Thanks.

Some twins protection definitely comes in handy since twins has become much stronger as you mentioned. Isida is also commonly used in small to medium sized maps, and it's a fearful weapon in team battles! Though I don't know if you need the full 48% protection from twins. Taiga can be an alternative, but it only has 15% Twins protection which might be not enough. If you really think the 48% is necessary, go for Rock. If you're happy with 15% protection, Taiga can be a good alternative. :)

I think 15% is less for twins now.

Tanki needs a paint with Rail/Thunder/Hammer protection, I'd definitely buy that paint :P

Noob question. Do paints improve % protection, always based on base armor protection numbers  or do they imporve according to MU'ed armor protection numbers?

Not sure what you mean, but the % reduction is based on the damage dealt by the specific turret. For example, my rail deals 94-144 dps, meaning 119dps on average. If it goes against my tundra (36% rail) with hornet (160hp), then damage dealt per shot is about 76dps, and my hornet will have about 84 armour points remaining.

Not that many hammers in the wild these days. Folks seem to be gravitating to Firebird, Twins, Rico, and Of course Rail. That would be the paint combo for me.

Ooh I know. Chameleon paint. 30% off whichever four turrets are most popular at any given time. Auto updating.

I'm playing m2 fire and m2 dictator right now... soon to be m2 fire and m2 viking.  I also will occasionally play m2 rico and I plan on buying m2 smoky.  My paint as of now is sandstone, what should my next paint be??

I was thinking either atom or waiting to buy inferno...  what do you guys think?
