You have wasp M1, and are likely to need to protect yourself from railguns and thunders, turret which can shoot you down quickly. For this, I would probably say corrosion to prevent against one-shots from dp thunders and m1 rails. If you are starting to see more m2 rails, you might want tundra. As long as you don't get ambushed by some firebird or freeze, you should be fine.

would digital be a good investment for my account? Right now I'm playing hornet/rail on longer ranged maps but will be getting medium ranged guns during tank mans sale. I can see digital working wonders in the longer ranged maps (infested with rails) but am a little worried about it being wasted on medium sized maps. thanks

Roger is definitely a good paint.  Go for it.

Digital is a great paint, with lots of rail protection, and some smoky and shaft protection.  If you are willing to spend the crystals on it, I would say buy it.  Still, Tundra is a cheaper alternative.  Keep that in mind.

I'd suggest you to wait with buying paints as long as possible to not waste too many crystals to cheaper paints that are rather useless at higher ranks. 

 

If you can't wait, I think Fracture is a great deal. It's not too expensive, so you still have some crystals to spend on m2 equipment in the foreseeable future.

Loam has a major Firebird protection and a minimal prtection from Thunder, but instead of protection from a long range turret, it offers protection from Freeze and Ricochet.

I personally prefer Lumberjack over Nano, but Nano is definitely a great paint. Though I'd not say it's a real short range paint as it has a minor Firebird protection and Ricochet and Smoky are Medium turrets. Picasso is indeed a great paint for medium to long range, but it needs some MUs on its Thunder and Railgun protection and maybe also some extra protection from Freeze. :p

I loathe Loam. But I respect it. Good fire and Rico protection means those tanks survive the over populous Firebird... And my Rico. When I see Loam on a Hunter or another Viking, I know I'm in for a slugfest. When I see Loam on a Titan or Mammoth, I head off in a different direction.

You don't have to fully micro-upgrade. You can do Railgun till 35 which costs already about 100 000 crystals less, though 30% protection from Thunder is very recommended which means fully micro-upgrading the protection from Thunder.

When I started playing with Vulcan I were using Vulcan m0/titan m1/storm,

Then when I bought Vulcan m1 I was still using the same hull and paint.

Now I have Vulcan m2 and I'm still using it with titan m1 and storm!

Don't go for a new paint already. Wait for better ones to unlock. You'll regret having bought a new paint now once you achieve higher ranks while being in need of crystals. :p

Like , Zeus+Clay = gives 50% protection against 6 turrets .

Zeus: 50% Freeze, 50% Firebird, 50% Smoky

Graffiti: 50% Twins, 50% Shaft, 50% Vulcan

Rock: 50% Isida (and 50% Twins)

Mars: 50% Hammer
