GUys what paint to buy?, I currently have my m2 combo(s) ricochet m2, hornet m2 and isida m2, I don't want to buy more hulls/turrets except possibly smoky, when I reach colonel, and since the sales are close, what 1 paint should I buy?, I will get to about 30k crys, I would want digital, but I can't, so should I save for Tundra and pixel?, because I wanted m2 mammoth, but it is too late to unlock and also I won't have enough to get it. At 11k now

I'd not buy one of those cheap paints you're mentioning. At your rank, there are already some high protective paints available, so I'd not waste crystals to the cheaper paints which don't offer enough protection at higher ranks. I don't think having Hornet as your only hull is a great deal. You're in need of another type of hull in my opinion. I've got a preference for a medium hull which is useful in all types of maps. Heavy hulls are too slow for Isida and Ricochet works better on a medium hull than on a light or heavy hull.

I'd not buy one of those cheap paints you're mentioning. At your rank, there are already some high protective paints available, so I'd not waste crystals to the cheaper paints which don't offer enough protection at higher ranks. 1 - Nano, I guess, it has protection from 3 medium ranged turrets (Hammer, Ricochet and Smoky) whilst Needle as protection from two ( Smoky and Rico)...

Racoon paint good for Polygon CP using Twins-Titan combo? (I hardly see anyone wearing this paint there TBH.)

 

Or should I skip that and save for Africa?

The Africa paint will be better: I 'd rather have the Thunder and Twins protection.

Racoon 's "Rail" is less common in CP, and "Isida" is 27% fully MU 'd.

M2 Rail takes 2 shots to destroy an M2 Hornet with Tundra. With double power, M2 Hornet gets one-shotted.

SO basically thundra is useless. Cause i m2 hornet can survive two shots even without thundra.

Corrosion is a good paint with multiple protections.

Put some micro-upgrades in it and you got a cheap sort of Sandstone.

 

If your focus is on Rail protection: Tundra

If Rico is your problem: Desert

Does anyone know what the "natural masking texture" on some paints actually does? It looks to me like tanks with those paints actually disappear past a certain range if they are sitting still behind trees or bushes. Can anyone verify this, or know what the range is, or are there other cases in which they disappear?

There's no fixed range. It's just harder to spot a greenish paint in the green bushes than a yellowish or reddish paint in those green bushes for example. They don't 'disappear' but it makes it harder for you to spot them because of the 'camouflage'.

Bought loam... Yes the paint I earlier described as loathsome. Needed the fire protection. I now have:

 

Tiger from the kit, great hammer protection

Loam, for fire prot

Sandstone for Rail and Thunder Prot

Dragon for Rico prot

Forrester - Rail prot replaced by Sandstone

Metallic - Thunder prot replaced by Sandstone
