The list of paints was updated.

Added the new Helper paint and adjusted the characteristics of Acid.

 

Also, since I don't have time to read all the posts in the forum, if you guys have some useful information about paints such as guides, comparisons, etc... send me PM with the link and I can add it with the credit to the author to the first page.

since this thread is abt discussing paints i am confused should i buy emerald or prodogy?

 

and it all depends on one question to get answered

 

as far i know a m3 hornet with emerald can take 3 hits and die on 4th of thunder m3

 

but does anyone know how many hits needed from m3 railgun to kill m3 hornet with prodogy on? i mean 2 hit to die or 3

 

as if it takes 2 hits to die than i will buy emerald otherwise prodogy?

 

please guys i need serious answers as i wanna test this in test server but didnt got chance

 

so some mod please test it and tell

I use M3 rail, and it take 3 shots to kill one M3 hornet with prodigi, the chances of 2 shot kill is extremely low.

it seems, nowadays there are more smoky users and while prodigi is still more common than needle paint.

 

heavy hull tends to use Needle paint, light hull tends to use prodigi.

 

or, should i just switch from rail to smoky or shaft (which will be good as rail after physics updates.)

well at your rank it is enough to have one paint, and is better to save for more better paints like: emerald, savannah

I have a question about paints with Freeze protection. Do these paints reduce the Freezing effect as well as the damage from Freezes ? Or just the Damage from a freeze, and you are still frozen ? This woul dmake a big difference if you are considering one of these paints. :huh:

Nah but new physics will make freeze effect last shorter than now.

 

Anyway everyone, prodigi is the best thing to use when playing in sandbox no supplies.

 

I have wasp m2 and I can survive take 3 shots quite good got a wasp.

 

Can't wait to get some items

I agree 100% with you logic...since your hull is heavy and slow, your weak point will be those short-ranged turrets (cause they're mostly mounted on ligh-fast hulls) BUT.... you should choose paints mainly according to the maps you play....obviously, you can't choose say python paint in a Serpuhov battle just because you are a slow hull....there are mostly railguns and Shafts there, so it would be useless. And it would be useless also if you wear a Shaft protection in an Island CTF battle so....paint depends mostly on the maps you play.
