I agree with you, however Dictator's stats are way better than Hunter's or Viking's, so perhaps microupgrades will make it more popular.

Totally right. Apparently nobody gets that dictator is much better than Dictator.

Example: Viking m0 is better than dictator m0, but dictator m1and 3 are way better than Viking m1 and 3 . The one disadvantage is the size, but other than that dictator is much better. Dictator is meant for practically any gun. Except for short range guns.

You are one of those players who in my opinion fixate to much on Stats. If you do that, than your absolutely right! Dictator M1 and M3 are better than Viking........

 

 

Unfortunately Dictator has some issues:

 

1. It is Big and it is High, a superb and easy target for any gun! Too make it even worse, if you get close enough to a Dictator (or even better collide with it) it can not even return fire because it shoots overhead...

 

2. It is unstable: if the stable Viking gets shot by high impact weapons it gets knocked about just a little and it is still easy to return the "favour", not so with Dictator: if you hit it with lets say Ricochet you can render it defenseless.

 

3. With the new micro-upgrades you can MU the Dictator M3 with an extra 27 HP, the Viking M3 goes to 55 HP extra. Twice as much!

 

4. Viking M3 unlocks five (longgggg) Ranks earlier than the Dictator M3, which only unlocks at the highest rank, so the "not so impressive" Dictator M2 (Stats ;) ) has a long way ahead of it....

 

5. Some say it is like a big Wasp because you can do the same peek-a-boo technique thanks to the turret position: but come on, there is still pretty much tank behind the turret!

 

 

The beauty of Tanki is that everyone is free to choose, so if you firmly believe in the Stats than go for it: and besides I really like Dictators as my opponents!  :P

Well if Dictator M1 is "way better" than Viking M1, than tell me why I have really never seen an excellent Dictator M1 player?

Most of them would have performed much better in a more regular hull !

The ones I met with my Viking M1 did at least not stand a chance. So please more Dictators, and less Vikings and Titans! ;)

 

Dictator is certainly not meant for every gun. No Ricochet, no Twins. :rolleyes:

Would advice you to take another hull in the game as well (if you haven 't already done that).

 

Keep practicing with the Dictator, but there is a good chance you will fare better with the other hull

of your liking.

 

In my case I really like the Rico. It has somewhat the same problem as the Dictator: they both

finally start to really rock at M3.

So in my opinion you can easily waste to much crystals and time if you mainly fight with those

"M3-rockers"! :)

Dictator is faster than a viking, and has less equal less more health (100-120, 165-165, 190-220, 255-240, dic-vik)!

Dictator is slower than a hornet, but has 25-75% more hp than a hornet. And is only 3-2m slower.

So dic is a very good middle tank, but costs way more than vik an hornet, who are the cheapest hulls.
