Wow! There has been a sudden resurgence of Dictator-Thunder. Aside from myself, i will say that i had honestly not seen anyone else using that combo until last November. Now, they just seem to dot every battle.

Dictator's popularity has increased a lot since that vlog where they said it was the best hull for catching gold boxes, many players didn't associate dictator's height advantage with better chances to get golds. I'm considering on buying it

I don't know why people didn't vote Hammer but I pawn everyone with Hammer-dictator combo.Its feels odd when play it for the first time but then you will be a badass soon.

I find it surprising that people would say that Railgun is the best turret to go with Dictator. I do know that the combo was hugely popular in clan wars, but nowadays it's almost completely surpassed by other things. Railgun shoots too infrequently to go well with Dictator, a large and slow-ish hull that can't take or dodge enough shots to justify putting a railgun on it. A Firebird/Hornet would take you out easily, and only take one shot in return. Instead, I would use Ricochet or Thunder, since they can take care of threats well and within a short amount of time. Thunder and Ricochet each have distinct advantages to using them as well that seem to go really well with Dictator's assets. So overall, if I had to use it, I'd definitely go with one of the latter two instead of Railgun.

It also compliments Vulcan pretty well, at the expense of speed and maneuverability.

Whatever few gold boxes I've picked up, all of them can be attributed to the Dictator.  This hull is a true dictator, and I am personally a big fan of this hull

Are you guys joking?  Dictator is the best combo of speed and hp in the game.  I've seen m3 dict m3 smoky combos owning battles.  Same with dict/twins at m3.

I totally agree with Highwinds here.  If upgraded well(to the mid range anything between 25 - 30 over 50) it is an unbeatable hull.  It can take punishment and yet stay in battle.  The stability though is a little tricky thing I'd say, and this is becuase it is hollow from the inside.  But upgradations will increase the weight too.  I've been using it from M0 and presently at M2 level.  It has a tendency of bobbing up and down while under attack from a rico especially, but I've learnt to use these bobbings to time my fire accordingly and it gives me really unprecedented angles of fire, specifically upwards and downwards.

I bought it m2 on tankers day. It really helps with the goldboxes. I took my first goldbox with it 5 minutes after I bought it! But you really need to get used to ppl calling you hacker. make sure you do some MU. if you do the first 3 on armor it's 20 hp more.

 

PS: If you use tundra and a DA on it and you are in a railgun battle you are like immortal!

Kostas, try Digital and you will be remembered as a God in railgun battles, even M3 rails find it nearly impossible to kill my M2 Dictator with digital paint and a DA

Huge amount of health but a bit unstable. Viking is comparatively better in combat but dictator's gold hunting is unbeatable. Limited choice for battles but works well in polygon cp. Can flip enemies easily.

Annoys me when people say viking is better in every way than dictator. This is just about m2 because thats what I have but Dictator is stronger by a fair bit and barely slower and more maneuverable. Also because the gap in stats between m2 and m3 is massive each MU has a bigger effect than the viking. So dictator is better IMO than viking stock but even better once MU'd. A lot of people say you get hit more and its harder to hide in dictator than viking but i really never find this happens or not noticeably. I think the only disadvantages to it is price and unlock but i think dico is way better on balance. Not to mention its better for golds and way more stable than it used to be

Dictator is just so big, it's quite uncomfortable driving it around in tight spaces, you just bump into just about anything.

 

I remember when Dictators were as light as Hornets pre-physics update, a lot of people also hated it for it's shape and size, right now, not so much.

I prefer Viking because it has a bit more speed, but it's still a bit awkward to drive in narrow spaces.

With Dictator there's the size problem and with Viking you get knocked off course if you hit a pebble.

However, I like to use Dictator-Smoky when midfielding.

I find dictator to be quite good, even if others say its ugly.M0 and M1 looks okay,but M2 and M3 is epic[in terms of looks].Ah,haters gonna hate

I dont use dico tho,im a viking guy^^

Is it possible to make dico shots go over you if ur using a viking???
