Yes. You can try ramming or driving along the left side of a Dictator. With Viking, your tank will be low enough that most players will have difficulty hitting you. But other than that, not really.

I love the combo of Dictator and Railgun.

The best balanced hull next to Hunter on Tanki, in my opinion. Railgun is the best turret that goes with dictator, and its height gives it a huge advantage, when on the ground, and also when hanging off a cliff. This is just my opinion, and yours is to consider too.

Ricochet is awesome if you can use it properly.

Titan really is bad.

Hunter's an exceptional hull.

Dictator's height gives it an advantage.

 

There's no issue with having unpopular weapons.

I think Dictator is pretty good on M3, but on M2 below, it just isn't right.. it feels slow and as mentioned by Stinger in the first post of the previous page, you bump into pretty much anything.

I think that the new dictator m3 kits ruined dictator. Dictator m3 should be a status symbol for generalissimos,showing that they played the game all the way through. M2 and m0 are too weak. I prefer viking because it is usually better. Although, thunder/dictator DOES look epic...

It's certainly not bad. Not as good as M2 Viking for sure, but it's cheap, has good stats, and will carry you to M3 Viking without too much difficulty.

tbh .i dont plan on getting M3 viking.at least unless the Fully MUed Dictator M2 disappoints me (i plan on slowly MUing M2 dictator to M3 .hopefully getting it at least halfway micro upgraded before Major .when i start putting my full long term plan in effect by getting M2 Firebird and MUing it to M3 which will give me a great gold hunting combo and last until and past Generalisimo .i also plan on getting my dream kit (Legend :wub: ) at unlock rank and maybe getting storm bringer much further down the road

If you don't have cash to burn, you're probably better off maybe upgrading it partially and then reserving it just for gold boxes, using other hulls in the meantime. Besides, M3 Dictator is in kits now, so you may be able to get it at just Marshal.

 

Also, I'd be a bit wary about getting Voltage at the moment. Electra is one of the paints that got a lot more expensive after the update.

no offense but i dont really care about how expensive it is (i know its gonna be expensive but i dont care much )cause 1) ill have a great hull.most likely before i see any other M3 dictators.and 2 ) ill have an amazing gold hunting combo with it .and yeah im hoping they'll replace the Paint in voltage with a Module so the price will end up not being sky high like it is now Edited July 18, 2016 by fordmustang12345

But, is it worth it to pay ~123k to have a m2 medium hull sooner, or to wait to buy viking for 99k and not be able to use my favorite class of hull? Also, I do like how much easier it is to tilt and take golds with dictator, and simply how imposing dictator looks with thunder...

I like Dictator more than Viking because every time I use Viking it gets a mind of its own and drives everywhere but where I want it to drive. Viking's a good hull to bridge your way into the M3 ranks but after you pass Marshal Hunter and Dictator are probably the better options.

Also, I am using Mammoth M2, and I don't have any M3 hull, seriously.. I decided to play from that way from warrant officer ranks and I am pretty much okay.

 

Main problems about Dictator is

---The hull is too big to hide, feels like an ostrich :/

 

---The height of the hull gives disadvantage at ramps, especially against viking.

 

---The front of the tank is very distant from the center of mass(rear mounted) and that creates a weak spot for impact force shaking.

 

---Slower than most players

 

---Might have problem about hitting near targets on the side of the hull due height

 

Use the back of the tank to shoot-and-hide, don't come to the targets from top, turn your front to targets if necessary, keep the distance at medium and face players on plain areas, then you will be most likely fine :)

 

Most players have some speed drug stock due little usage, so I guess you have plenty of speed drug to use :)

 

 

You can check wiki to calculate micro upgrades' cost and make some comparisons. My Dictator M2 with 35 MU is actually stronger than base Viking M3 and costed cheaper( I used many chances which you might not get)
