You mean it dies in 3 shots? How many MUs do you have?!!? My M2 Hunter (203 HP) with Digital (39% Rail) can barely survive 2 shots of M3 >_>

I don't have any MUs for hunter or tundra, but it still works.  try it.

Believe me, it is worth it.  I have M1 hunter and its my favorite hull.  You can play anywhere midfield, attack, and base defense.

^ That actually makes it why so many people like it: It has nearly as much health as Viking (without MU's) and is over 1 metre/sec faster! Also, it's very heavy making it steady, though still very handy if you want to use the rocking trick. Too bad I don't see them too much around at my rank.

Lets do the math: Railgun M1 at max damage does 115 damage.  Railgun M3 deals 164 MAX.  M1 hunter has 165 health.  Tundra takes off 30% of railgun damage.  So a M1 railgun shot with protections accounted for equals 115 X 0.7=80.5 damage per shot. two M1 railgun shots means

80.5 X 2=161.0 damage.  M1 hunter has 165. So, M1 hunter can survive two M1 railgun shots and still drive.  Now M3 railgun can't take out a M1 hunter no protection as 165-164=1. Hunter still lives, but has hardly any life left.  Add in the tundra protections 164 X 0.7=114.8 damage.  As seen, 114.8 X 2=229.6 damage while M1 hunter only has 165 health. M1 hunter cannot survive two M3 Railgun shots.

I looked at the price for other hulls unlocked at recruit and they are all 100 crystals.  I think the hunter would be the same price, don't you?
