Yes, it's a nice and stable hull that can be used in many different situations.

It's smaller than a Viking and yet heavier than a Viking, and has about the same health as Viking.

Hunter is highly unstable hull with speed boost. It is very difficult to control it with all your hands.. I think it should only be played in large spaced maps like serpuhov

Viking is common because it is the earliest medium hull to buy, it is in a LOT of M3 kits, and it is the second cheapest hull behind the very weak Hornet M3. It is also a very versatile hull like Hunter. Lastly, because it unlocks early and is cheap to MU, people usually M4 it by the time they reach Generalissimo, and therefore don't feel the need to buy another medium hull. 

 

I use Viking over Hunter because I have it M4 :P

Also viking is more common because before they reworked the hulls,viking was overall better than hunter except for speed

You brought too many M1. You should have have just brought 2 turrets and 2 hulls at most. Save for an M2 kit or buy the hulls and turrets separately during sales. Play one mission per day and log out to maximise crystals to experience ratio. Complete your mission chains if possible. Go to empty servers like EU22 to complete collect the boxes mission. Try to play in battles where you are in highest rank. Go back 1 to 3 servers once you log in. For example, whenever i log in I will enter EU6. However, I will go to EU8 to do my mission or EU20 to EU22 to do collect the boxes mission.

Yeah but I would still get Mammoth M4, it's much better than Hunter M2.

When I have enough crystals I'm finally fulfilling my biggest Tanki dream - buy Hunter M3. I used to be a huge Hunter guy, but when I got to Brigadier Hunter M2 wasn't good enough anymore and since then I've played with Hornet M3.
