Anyway, back to the point, Hunter is just straight up OP. The other night I was on a highland ledge on one side of the ramp had the other side blocking my way a bit and gap between it and arch and it was very small. The target was in that gap, and I hit it with ease because I was using hunter, where as if I used Viking, I would either hit the ledge or the arch. And this is just one example of why hunter is OP.

For A Midfielder Hunter is more suited but as an attacker Viking is better

But who cares these things now , all we care is getting kills { except in maybe E-sports the things i said still apply}

And that is why Hunter is better choice and maybe OP than Viking  :ph34r:

I’m going to stick with Hunter (with Smoky) anyway, but worried about that stupid impending OD.

I’ve had a few crystal windfalls recently (lots of 10K containers, a 100K) and now have 400K on this account with Hunter at M1/6 (and Smoky at M1/10).

Have a bit of a hard decision to make because I’ve realized that I’m never going to get to the ranks where I can buy a lot of M2 stuff or M2 Smoky kits. I just don’t play enough.

I could get to the next rank before the Birthday sale and get an M2 Hunter kit and MU it to M3 (using speed ups for all but the last step if it’s 50/70), but don’t know how advantageous that would be compared to getting 25% on all of my modules.

(I could get another hull and / or turret and MU it / them to M1/10, but don’t think I’d use it that much)

Out of all the turrets in the game, I have found only 2 that can push a hunters stability to its limit.

Ricochet: I have encountered a lot of them lately, and it's impact force is enough to where it'll just barely avoid my shots. Probably by a meter or so.

A well placed railgun shot will send a hunter about 10 to 15 degrees back at most.

That is what I have experienced so far with hunter, I will continue to do research on it. In other words, play more battles with it equipped.

Great with Vulcan.  Speedy enough to get into good firing positions and stable enough to keep the rain of bullets on target.

It has the insane stability to size ratio. That's pretty OP.

I've been playing Rugby lately and discovered the "Power" of Hunter is incredibly helpful at scoring goals. Today I pushed a titan off the point...the only hull that pushes harder is Dictator.

And a twins enemy got nothing on me.

The impact force of twins is literally non-existent against a hunter.

So what turret do you usually use with Hunter?

Now that my Hunter is m3 16/20 I am starting to use it more. Can't wait to have it m4. I am still frustrated I chose Viking instead of Hunter. So I've been using Titan m4 and enjoying Titan, but I prefer a more versatile hull. Hunter certainly is the king of versatility!

So I was in a magistral DM MM battle using the hunter and thunder combo and I topped the scoreboard with 24 kills and only 6 deaths.

So there were people who were using supplies but didn't have a module against thunder, there were some with an adequate thunder module but were drugless, and there was some without any form of protections. There were only a few people who had a module and were using supplies, me and a couple other people.

I have also noticed that many people in that battle knew how to hit the very corners of a hull, and boy was I glad that I had my hunter equipped because those impact forces had no effect on hunter. Had I been using Viking at the time, I would have had a lot less kills and a lot more deaths.

This is just another example of how OP hunter is.

* not OP

How good Hunter is will be the more accurate explanation

How is it not OP?

It has the weight, pushing power, and the rocking ability similar to that of dictator.

It also has the speed and size similar to that of Viking.

Hunter is basically an upgraded version of the two.

Hunter (my favorite medium hull) is not an upgraded version of the two. It does NOT out rock, out push or out weigh Dictator. It does NOT out run or out "low profile" the Viking. Instead it is a downgrade to Dictator's size, power, and rocking ability and a downgrade to Viking's size profile and speed. It is the "Middle" Medium hull. In my opinion that makes it the most versatile Medium hull. Not OP, but OV. It is the most versatile hull (Over Versatile) in the game and depending on your choice of turret and game play it could be argued to be the best for some folks.

Again, that doesn't mean it is OP. It also doesn't make it an "upgraded version of the two." In reality it is a hybrid of the two. If the hull fits your game play, then use it and enjoy. If it doesn't, then don't.

I like how it runs, smoothly, and how stable it is a not not being ragdolled all the time.

But just because I like it, doesn't mean I can't say what I think of it, does it?

You can certainly share what you think. Sorry if I indicated otherwise. I was simply sharing an alternative opinion (perhaps even a minority opinion) of my own. It is a trade-off with any hull. For me, Hunter and Titan are the best at higher ranks. At lower ranks, hornet and viking ruled. But again that was based on my playing style and preferred turrets.

As a confession, I do not like the term OP being applied to turrets or hulls I enjoy using since that means the inevitable "nerf" will get started. I enjoy the Hunter and the Titan.

Again, forgive me if you felt I don't want you (or others) to share their thoughts and opinions. I am all in favor of everyone communicating and challenging each other's ideas.

Peace!
