thats why i didn't buy it

well,i have it m3 at my high account :D

under m3 isnt quite that good :(

viking is better at m0,m1 and m2 <_<

I only have m2 on my good account and m1 on my okay one

soon,the strong m2s are coming,viking,titan,mamoth and after a while even the early m3s like the mighty hornet m3 and viking m3 and you will have the hunter only m2 because m3 unlocks pretty late :(

that why i would recommend to go for viking -_-

well, u know i did many tests on it, me neither don't trust the stats.

Beside, russian's generalissimos know much better what to buy, and very very few who bought hunter

they know viking will have crazingly high hp with acceleration.

they are going after the popularity of each hull :lol:

for example,mamoth is very popular and many think is the best when obviously titan is better :P

In polygon, Farm, mammoth + DMs and many other matches, mammoth is better. no dust on this, and many started to play solo than in teams, thus to gather rewards they play with mammoth. then they upgrade their other items. Here, armor beats the skills unfortunately.

I do not immediately agree that Mammoth is better in Polygon. It certainly was the best in that Map side-by-side with the Titan befóre the New Physics.

 

After the NP both heavy hulls suffered a lot when it comes to adapting to a faster paced game. Certainly the Mammoth became really slow now.....

 

 

In Polygon DM 's I like to fight with Viking and the main trick is not to get face-to-face with a Mammoth or Titan. Than your toast!

 

So if you properly know how to use the surplus of speed the Viking got after the NP in relation to Titan and certainly Mammoth, you got a very good fighting chance!

 

At least this is the case (in my opinion) at the level on which I am at.

Yes you r right, but when i talk about such, then i remove skills, and imagine 2 pcs play against each, you have an overcrowded area in polygon that you can't use skills a lot,

and yes u r right if we talk about few tanks then there will be a lot of space to do maneuvers,

we can say that wasp with rail can beat mammoth with rail if  1 X 1

Anyway i am not a game expert,

This game is not a big concern to me

really feel sorry for the time wasted on it

Nothing is certain, whenever u go for something, they change the physics or get some bad surprises.

So yes, i have wasted a good chance to buy hunter m3 if they will make its speed 11 with the MUs and they will.

Well in that case I agree with you, but I did not read that (at all) in your post, that 's why I reacted. :)

 

Come on Adam, if anyone is a game expert it is you! You take a lot of time to really investigate and test the Tanki equipment, not many of us would do that! B)

To my own benefit in the case of the Hunter, because what you showed in the short clips is that the Viking is a lot faster at the first meters. That power/acceleration of a hull was so important I discovered by your clips! Before to my shame I did not even now that Power = Acceleration.... :unsure:

It is what makes the short movements much more fluent, a thing I personally prefer!

 

And your right about the Devs: if they change something it is too often radical like in the case of the Mammoth.

In principal I agreed with the decision to make the Mammoth weaker, because with drugs it was unstoppable.

The problem I have is that first the Devs let everybody go nuts on the OP stuff and when it seems that almost everyone has an OP Pre-NP Mammoth in the garage they suddenly change it to a useless piece of whatever! :angry:

 

That is a perfect of stimulating buying, but it certainly does not feel right at all!

Is the low acceleration that bad?

No, it is not. It is just a small difference, but if you get more skilled, those small differences can become important.

 

What I like is a hull that can do quick short movements in a small area. I use this a lot in Polygon DM. One of the reasons I prefer a higher acceleration.

 

But if you are a CTF player, you might prefer the hull with the highest speed and than the acceleration becomes a much minor issue.

Yeah yeah, acceleration went down. So, learn how to use it like that and dont complain. If you cant, move on to another hull. I love it. Might be slow for attacking sometimes, but great for defense. ;)

maybe at the start viking leads for max 5 meters and after hunter leads for the rest of the road :P
