I would like one gun to be smoky but a bit different and bigger :)

:mellow: He said Ideas for new gun. U want the shape and size to change! That wont be a new gun, it will be smoky with other shape. :mellow:

Use Thunder as suggested By husto. Thunder is almost same as smoky but a bit bigger.

I thought of this same, but a bit different. It could be a gun called Electric gun, it would shoot a bit slower than Twins and it would also have critical hit, and it's shots would look like that Electric ball on Electra paint in garage. It would have 3x less critical probability than smoky and would have a bit more power than Twins (Twins needs less power anyway).

A gun that is able too one-shot everybody and can shoot 100 times a second, only given too really cool people like me so I can kick everyone's asses :P

 

jk, actually I like the ideas about the new weapons from theirself like the rocket launcher etc. Sounds interesting ^_^

We don't have any gun that could kill enemy rapidly from far distance. Railgun and Shaft are both far distance, but they kill slowly with high power per shot. There is no far distance gun, that could take less hp per shot and could shoot far distance.

Smoky is getting close to your description, rapid fire, able to do a lot of damage in 1 shot, low damage drop-off at long range...

A railgun that fires as soon as spacebar is hit, then recharges. Guess that might be thunder or shaft, though.

 

A gatling gun. Basically ricochet's rate of fire but higher damage, less damage drop-off at range, and no bounce effect. It would be pretty deadly up close, but would become less accurate at long range so tht it wouldn't be overly powerful. At range it would still hit hard, but it's shots would be randomly spread out over an area (widening cone as distance increases). Not like twins, which does no damage at range.

 

Twin smokies with no critical hit. Same widening accuracy cone as described above.

 

A mortar. High damage and splash damage, but unable to fire within a certain range. Ideally, the player would be able to specify the range of each shot. Of course, this might not be possible in the current game design.

 

Homing missiles. Again, this might not be possible in the current game design.

 

An amphibious hull and maps with water.

 

Wasp or Hornet with a short-term speed bost that would be compensated by a period of slower than normal motion.

 

Wasp with a Mammoth outer shell that can be jettisoned.

How about something that releases a cone-shaped, swirling shock wave doing specified amount of damage to the tanks that get in its way. It should have limited range and slowly fades away as its range comes to an end. Reload speed could be like railgun's, maybe? The design of the weapon would be the most difficult thing IMO.

 

I have one idea called the single twin, but please tell me what you think, and post your ideas here, thank you.
