True. But regardless of what they 'usually' are, Clans can only be created by First Lieutenants, while Teams by Third Lieutenants. That is a small rank difference. Also Teams were introduced later than clans, and when Teams came around, there were many high ranked clans. So now no small member will create a clan, because it will easily be beat by the other Clans. So now it's pretty much "Clans for high ranks and Teams for small ranks", although there are a couple Teams with only high ranks too :)

You just can't compare, teams have much less joining requirements, so teams are filled with noobs. Clans are official, and have many more tournaments than teams.
