m1 Hornet or m1 Viking? m1 Thunder or m1 Smoky?

I'm not asking as a combo, and not just at my rank (m1 Thunder is even for my rank!) for the first question, I'm talking about for the WO5 rank, for the second I'm talking about the WO4 rank. Which is better for those ranks I just gave.

 

Please give a 2+ sentence description on why it's better please  :)

Well . .. I'd honestly say Thunder. Deal solid direct shots. Thunder is good at the lower ranks. I'm not saying Smoky isn't, but you'll get better results if you use Thunder. Besides, Smoky is quite cheap. Get it later if you want.

I presume you're playing CTF? Then I'll go with Hornet. I have M1 Viking and catching a flag is absolutely horrible. Though the kill streaks are just wonderful. With Hornet you'll not only be able to do some rough work and kill, but you'll be a flexible tank that can also lunge for the flag.

So it looks like you're going with the Thunder/Hornet combo. Well remember to keep in mind that you'll have lesser health. Careful not to shoot near your tank unless intentionally. When an Isida or something is locked onto you, face him. When your health is low, shoot him and he'll lose lots of armor and won't get you as a kill. Unless of course you know he's severely weakened and has like 10 armor left. Then I guess it's worth it to shoot him .Just respawn :D

Hornet thunder Is a pretty good combo. I personally love hornet. It's fast, and versatile.

As always, I would say definitely Hornet over Viking. If you want a stronger tank Dictator is a way better pick than Viking. As for turret, I think it's preference, though Smoky probably isn't as good at M1 because of the high rank needed for M2.

1. At WO4 I, as I already said, would take Thunder because of the high rank needed for Smoky M2.

Smoky is good for battles under WO4, especially against M0 hulls. However, I feel that Smoky looses a little strength starting from WO5 into the Lieutenant ranks. I have Smoky, and now Polygon DM's are a lot harder because the Smoky/Mammoth doesn't work quite as well.
