When I'm lazy I just run over Mines on purpose even if I see them and could stop. I'm too cool to avoid mines. :mellow:

Or wait after they lay like 10 mines. Then kill them with a 2x power or something.

I remember this incident. My team laid 2 Mines on Silence ramp. Not the ramp that leads to the Red Pipe, the one that leads to the Flag. So we see a 2x armor Dictator M2. He stops in front of the mines and everyone on my team is like ''Hah Sucker.'' Turns out an Isida comes along and he steps on a mine, then waits for Isida to heal him. Then he steps on the other one, and the isida heals him. Then everyone on my team is all like: :mellow:

Question it says that damage is 120-240. How is this determined? Rank? Time since the mined was pooped?

I think mines are awesome for saving your ass from short ranged guns. :D

I just screw with people using mines. I mean, dailies just unload them on you like they're dumping trash, and when people are still loading and you can see through their hull, I just pop a mine underneath them. Sometimes they just ragequit immediately after dying, even.

Mines are very useful when defending in drugwars! They can help out very much and they can destroy whichever tank because no paint has protection agaist them ;)

The 2 things i love about mines:

 

1. Jump on top of a tank and you can blow them up with a mine

2. Place a mine on a spawn point and when someone spawns there, they blow up :lol:

I always love bombing on the steep ramp in moon silence.  Helps me get a few golds.

Also i leave them around enemy base to spawn-rape the enemies. Pretty useful

On Silence there's a ledge where Reds can camp with a lot of mines covering the entrance. I blew up like 10 Isidas trying to get me and shot 6 more. The Blue team was getting so pissed off. Eventually they got an M1 Ricochet to come and kill me XD.

I think Mines should have more power.

I can't even kill a m1 Hornet with Double Armor.

I use m1 Hornet and when i use drugs i pass loads of mines.....

They need to change the amount of damage a mine does, I know that they changed the price of a mine from 100 crystals to 50 crystals because they weren't as effective as they were before ( for people who don't know, they could take out potentially any m3 hull in the game) and now, the majority of hulls at m3 can survive landing on a mine so they need to 'rebalance' the amount of damage a mine causes

I'd like to see mines with a bigger kick, but visible at a longer range.

The deterrent effect of a mine - or slowing attackers down as they edge past it - is part of its strength...

Mines have to be used well to be appreciated properly.

 

My uses of mines:

 

-When with a fast tank and jumping, you may see a person underneath your jump. As you are in mid-air plant a mine underneath their hull. Its always a shock to them to suddenly explode. And it works. 

-Similarly, when a tank is on a lower level, do the same mine-dropping technique.

-When a tank is facing you and wants to go past you, mine, then back off a touch, then they will likely hit your mine and explode.

-Find hard places to enter the flag and mine in them. Even as an attacker, you can just mine as you leave the base, and it will help your defence.

-Also, as an attacker, foil your hunters by mining in your path as you go around corners for example.

There just should be lightweight mines and heavy mines.
