Someone told me about new rules to limit powerups. This is great news, as I rank up, I find that it is really hard to find a battle not ruined by constant druggers. Could someone fill me in on how the new rules will work? I think it will make the game much more enjoyable. Thanks.

I know people have a mixed opinion about drugs, just wanted to see who thinks what.

 

I really don't like druggers in normal wars, and I'm not about to pay 5k per month for a no-supply battle, not only because it's expensive, but also because hardly anyone plays in no-supply battles anyway.

 

I do at times use supplies, primarily when I am carrying the flag and being chased down to certain death, or trying to suppress an opponent who came in on full power-ups. But the worst is when they start doing it from the start with no rhyme or reason.

 

The thing is there is nothing you can do to stop them, they are obeying all the rules - in fact the staff supports them because heavy supply users are mostly donators anyway.

 

I doubt there's anything we can do to change that, like making the no-supply option free, because that would skrew up a big source of income for the company, so we just have to bear it.

 

What are your thoughts?

 

before battle starts both team should equal number of players then after battle starts if any player quit  , new player should not join there  for 15mins so that we can control the heavy drug players.   or  the quit person should not join next battle for 15minutes

The cooldown update isn't coming fast enough, and there are a lot of druggers trying to drug as much as they can before the update...

I think this is how it works:

 

So if you want to use a Double Power you can right away as normal, but all other drugs will be sent into a 'cooldown' simultaneously, meaning they can't be used for a short amount of time. Some drugs have a shorter cooldown than others (ex., Mines cooldown faster than Double Armor, so you can use a Mine sooner than Double Armor). If you use a Mine, even more time will be added to the other drugs before you can use one. The drugs themselves last the same amount of time as they do now.

I dont know..i dont see any difference, at my rank people always drug like nuts..so much so that i was impressed by one drugger and friend-ed him :D

^^ Yeah but down here at this rank druggers aren't as bad, so it's easy to know when there are increases/decreases. I think everyone's drugging because they soon won't be able to spam their drugs.

Played one last mega drug battle...a stadium 100 flag match..my team was full of noobs and mults...opponent got big druggers..and just when we were about to lose, fortunately drug king and friend welcome555 was online and came to the rescue...its sad to say goodbye to drug battles like this that intense gameplay..

I bought smokym2 thanks to the last sale,

and it significantly make me strong when drugs out.

 

viking + smoky is enough strong without drugs :)

its probably the best way to save up drug in my rank .

 

if there must be a lot of Needle Hornet Rail user :(

and then smoky is about no use

What are exactly the effects of drugs? Some say that it will make your tank twice as strong, multiply your weapon's damage etc, but I don't think so. Looking at the stats, if isida m0 and hornet m0 are drugging, they are presumably stronger that isida and hornet m3 without drugs. In fact this is certainly not the case. Why ?

Looking at the stats, if isida m0 and hornet m0 are drugging, they are presumably stronger that isida and hornet m3 without drugs. In fact this is certainly not the case. Why ?

Drugs are basically a temporary boost that strengthens your tank in speed, armor, and damage rate. For example, a double power will double the damage your tank gives to another opponent. A double armor gives your tank two times the amount of hp it should have at any given moment. A nitro makes your tank 30% faster. A health box restores hp as well as any damage effect inflicted by any opponent, such as a burn from a firebird or the freeze effect from a freeze. In some way, isida can be seen as a roaming healthbox.

 

Drugs basically allows you to see your tank how it would be if it were 1-2 upgrades higher than what it actually is. This is why when people drug, they are very powerful. One shot from an m2 turret could feel more like a shot from an m3 or even m4 turret to your opponent. This is why there has always been the conflict of drugs being annoying, overpowering, and cheap to use. Drugs would show players that a player relied more on brute force rather than skill to win a match. This is why Tanki made pro-battles so players could play without drugs and rely on skill to win a match. Of course, with recent updates, Pro-battles have changed dramatically.........

Actually, the speed boost does not double your speed, but rather increases the top speed by 30%.

I know exactly what you mean.

 

There was a Dictator M2 with Rail M1 on Blue Silence and he kept randomly drugging and charging.

 

The whole Red team used up their drugs trying to keep him out, but he must have had hundreds of each.

 

There probably isn't much anyone can really do.

Everything you said is so true

Druggers are hard to stop

Skilled players buy microupgrades

Unskilled players buy drugs

I have no experiences with drugs yet. Hpw does it work, is it a stock of these three boxes we can collect during gameplay, like double power (re flsh), double armou and restore health? I have noticed something today, which I found strange. I observed how someone was just been respawn and he immediately had double armour. I made a screenshot, look here:

Yes, he used supplies that you can activate using the numbers 1,2,3,4, and 5. You can use one right when you respawn, however you cannot use one immediately afterwards.
