I see a drugger than I leave the battle. I don't have enough drugs yet to keep drugging. I can't waste a second to look down on my keyboard to press 1,2,3,4,5,6. I really hope people play pro battles because that is only what I will play became I heard high rankers all drug. ._.

Now I have to choose the druggy team in battles. pathetic, tanki! You really can not see what is happening in games because of over drugging? really?! You really think that's cool?! No, it's not cool at all! A team is winning and, after a few minutes, a drugger or two change everything. The winning team is leaving the game. Or those 10-0 games? Come on, get real! You can balance the game a little, everything is: Drug or lose, buy or bye! And I will keep saying it, that's Tanki online 2016! Pitty! :(

I get ~ 2 hours play a week before my supplies run out and then I cannot compete. Anyone else? If I didn't do mission chains I would have to play 100% pro battles...

According to my calculations, a full out drugger who uses each of his supplies, excluding mines and golds, is 16x more powerful than a tanker with no drugs! Using a second repair makes  him 32x more powerful.... :ph34r:

The Biggest problem for me is the trolls and gold box - beggers. When someone have bought more than 100+ gold boxes they type in lobby chat " Spam me for golds" And then everyone spams '+' on him and causes the server lag.It causes lag on my browser too.. This should be fixed -_____-

yeah i met this warrent officer 4 he kept on begging buy me cry please please. and i was like im pretty sure u have money like why not use like idk 5$ dont ask me then i removed him from my friends list.

Thats not What I am talkin about. I am telling that The buyers Buy serveral gold boxes, And then Tell others to spam him and then he will drop them in battles...

The thing that annoys me the most about drugs is the fact that I don't have them. And others do.

 

To me, drugs are the gateway for less skilled tankers to get an advantage over your average skilled tankers, making them above and beyond the competition. And more times than not, if you see a tanker that has consistently drugged throughout a match, they're probably a donator, because not even the frugal tankers would be willing to waste 30+ drugs in one single match.

 

Tanki's done a pretty good job I think in order to balance out the OPness of druggers with the sky drugs in the game which are accessible to all players as long as they can get them. The no supplies battles are a good idea too, but I'm not sure why you have to pay such obscene amount to enter those games.

Totally agree too many players are using ''drugs'' to win battles unfairly and beat skilled tankers

Big mistake. Tanki can't really see that battles finish really fast because of druggers, and scores are 0-10, people quit face to druggers?! They should fix this mistake, the game is no longer a game, it's "Drug or die", "Buy or bye!" Pitty. It became a druggy game, nothing more. I'm so disappointed...

Tanki,  many people will lose interest in this game. First the non-druggers will stop playing cause of the too many drug wars. Then druggers will leave cause they will eventually find the game boring. All battles will only have druggers and buyers at this point. People will stop buying the PRO pass cause everyone will start buying supplies instead. Not many people will worry about buying crystals anymore and instead they will buy supplies. At this point Tanki isn't getting enough money from players so the devs will take supplies out of the garage and put them in the shop to buy for real money. At this point Tanki will lose all non-buyers. The ones that still like Tanki or are addicted to the game will probably just join the buyers and buy crystals. But a huge amount of people will leave the game still. Then only buyers will be able to play the game. And if people stop playing Tanki Online what's gonna happen to Tanki X? No one will try that game out cause of their experience with Tanki online. So Tanki X won't be able to open and in the end the game Tanki Online that we once knew would be no more and would be shut down never to be played again. I mean that's what I think will happen and this quote above by fireduster shows us what's currently happening in Tanki. Too many updates are happening but none that are really improving the game for everyone. Taking supplies out of the game would actually benefit the game. Sure Tanki may lose some people but more people will start playing it and won't quite when they rank to grefire (the third rank) . And if you somehow didn't get my overall point it is to take supplies out of the game. Tanki won't take supplies fully out of the game but they should at least make players unable to buy them or acquire them through the garage. Supplies should be only acquired through battles, the boxes that drop in battles should be the only kind of supply left. Well that's my idea ;)

Ikr, at our middle ranks PRO is useless unless you really really like XP BP Battles on RU1.

 

I agree supplies shouldn't be able to be obtained in the garage or in the shop. Only through the actual game and missions.

Agreed, in middle ranks no one buys the PRO cause their saving for kits which means only drug battles are available. :(

Wow... I'm actually shocked that they changed the original post of this topic.

 

The OP was actually quite heavily against drugs, so either someone's had an opinion change (unlikely), or Tanki forced a change.

 

Either way, that's a load of bull.

what really bothers me is i wish someone would tell me how you get #2 #3 #4 supply at the same time where you don't have to wait for the next power supply ,the timers are a pain in the neck, there are many people who have that option how do i get it too.

it is also getting harder for the players who can not afford drugs or up grades to ever win or catch a gold box some players seem to know exactly where it will land ..

Sadly everyone faces the problem, and that is how it must be. It is worth using a couple of supplies just to catch a gold box as it is still a positive increase in crystals, so just buy some drugs when you hear the siren or by 1 drug of each before hand.

The power-ups (drugs) are simply too powerful at 2x. Let's cut to the chase: they are the most important factor in the game. But the game is supposed to be about tanks ... not power-ups. The goal is supposed to be about creating the most powerful tanks you can choose and afford to fit your style. But it is not. What the game really is about is about being able to stay as close fully drugged all of the time.

 

The game may as well be named Pickupi Online.

 

The numbers do not lie.  Players are supposed to worry about paying thousands of C per MU. Each of these MU steps might increase you turret damage by a fraction of a percent. A power-up increases damage by 100 percent and costs 50 C,  Sure that boost it temporary - per drug dose. That temporary problem goes away if players are able to stay in a permanent state of powered-up. And evidence seems to say this is iundeed possible.

 

So we see an end-game where the only way to compete is to stay powered up all the time. The game becomes one of drug management not maneuver and tactics. 

 

But Little Willie, you say, what's the problem is everyone is fully powered-up? then the  Game is lie playing with n one powered up (except for the speed of the tanks / rotations). WEll flip that argument on its head. If drugs do not affect the end-game play balance .. then why do we have them?

 

The power-ups need a fresh look from the design team. They need to be designed to give an advantage but not one so large that they dominate the game. Right now I am seeing a negative incentive to gain experience! If gaining experience mostly means I meet more and more "druggers" dominating battles then gaining experience has a bit of the kiss of death about it.

 

If that is not a glaring warning sign to the developers that there is a drastic flaw in their design I don't know what is.

why is one map has extra health box's on one side then the other , this gives the other team when playing TDM / CTF /DM / cp   battles advantageous over the other team ..the extra health box should be in the middle of the field and not two on one side ..

First of all, I noticed that there are many kungurs NS, you just need to find them!

Also, drugs help you gain fastly exp, just save them up and than when you think it's worth using them just press 2 3 4 :)

At my rank finding a silence or whichever map without a drugger is impossibile, and if you want to takeover a battle you will surely need some power-ups! By the way drugs can be used also to make a high d/l or to heal yourself if you're doing parkour and you get accidentally hit by a friend..

How much damage does a mine do? (120-240) And what does the amount of damage depend on?

If there is an exact number, please say.

When a mine explode, the server chooses a random value from the min (120) and the max (240), and that how it works for Railgun too.

The random value follow a Gaussian curve (or Normal distribution curve), y-axis is frequency of the damage value and the x-axis is damage value:

The damage value in the middle of the peak is the average/mean value, the mean value for the mine has a higher occurrence so does the damage value around the mean point. I guess for the mine the average value is (120 + 240) /2 = 180. This mean that mine are really powerful but also unpredictable.

 

If you lay a mine you don't know if the tank will survive or die, therefore the safe strategy would be to lay down 1 mine for small tank and 2 mines for bigger hull.

 

The Gaussian curve shows that hull with 181 hp will have 50% chance to just survive an encounter with a mine. If you have a hull with 160 you have a high chance (~80-90% to die). Inversely, if you have a hull with Hp of 200 you will have only 20-10% chance of dying. Therefore if you want to be smart with your MU for your M0-M2 hulls, you would spend crys to get around an HP of 180. If you have to do 50 MUs to get there don't do it. If you have 10 MUs to do then it worth it. Obviously for M3 you MU all the way. See below where you stand with hull per M level:

No M0 hull are safe. Only Mammoth M0 has nearly 50% to survive.
