Let's Discuss Supplies!

Overdrive is nothing more than just 1 round of free supplies to the druggers, if they have it or not they're gonna drug anyway

True, but without OverDrive, druggers had the hassle of cooldowns, while now they get all 3 drugs, directly or indirectly, many times.

Play against a drugging clan and check if there is a single second in the game where they do not have drugs.

Buyer: 12345 12345 12345 OverDrive 12345 12345 OverDrive 12345 OverDrive Overdrive 12345 OverDrive for 1 hour

Free user: ... ops... I did that on one 15mins battle already today and have no more drugs....

Non drugger: ... ... .... ... ... ... ... ... .... .... .... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... OverDrive .. ... .. ... ... ... ... ..OverDrive ... ..

not if you manage to bring the fight to enemy base right after the battle starts. On my magnum account sometimes i manage to kill more than half the enemy team(their attackers) with my first 1 or 2 shots and i proceed to bombard tgeir base and afterwards its just spawn killing, half my team with firebird and isidas running the enemy base while the other half with strikers and shafts stays with me at a distance. isidas focus in healing as much as the can instead if killing in order to maximise total overdrive charge gained by the entire team(if they killed that'd mean the rest of us would take a longer time to charge). Within 3 minutes our unlimited overdrives starts... so even for a non druger it can be ...(sheer domination by element of surprise)... odododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododododoododo all the way till the end.

i find this particularly effective in polygon where everyone spawns everywhere. while it might be harder to kill everyone at the start, once you start the unlimited overdrives your team would be automatically dropping lots of mines all over the place.

Sorry, but... what you described simply cannot happen (unless all enemy druggers are on the phone while playing...). Non drugging Magnum killing with 1 shot.. and killing 4/5 drugging attackers... unlimited overdrive for a non drugger in a 15 mins battle...

Nope, not in Tanki Online.

PS.: if I remember properly, you play with drugging friends. Then obviously you would get the benefit of their drugging and their overdrives...

on my spanish account i have no friends. attackers tend to have light/medium hulls and tend to use nitro or double damage first. i have memorized the optimal angel and pressure to shoot from any point to any point in most maps. i have also memorized all drop zones. it's unlimited because my whole team is spawn killing/healing.

okay there are a lot of hackers on ES so it is possible that some of my team mates could be hacking. i usually only notice someone is hacking damage or health when they are on the enemy team.

here, some of my friends drug, some drug sometimes, some drug rarely, some never... playing with them is just like playing with random people except we're coordinated and I don't end up in a team of noobs.

I quit this game when they first started the stupid "drug experiments." The devs are killing their own game. Drug clans are a huge part of this game Russian/Arabic/EU they all spend thousands of dollars on your game. Buying drugs, MUing garage, maxing other accounts and the way you repay them is by destroying the repair kit. You've literally destroyed the thing that makes you rich. But honestly I dont care anymore, im done with this game, ive spent over 3k on this game, my full M4 garage means nothing now. Keep listening to the low rank mults who make you no money.

Tanki Online offers six different supplies in-game:

- Repair Kit

People have mixed opinions on supplies. What are your thoughts?

Note: Suggestions and complaints for only merely increasing or reducing the power of supplies will not be allowed in this topic anymore.  A dedicated topic will soon be made for this.  More info here

Why? Are you afraid of loosing money. Take repair kits out of DM mode and I guarantee tankers will still make certain purchases. Maybe upgrades, hmmm. Maybe a different hull. There is no skill in using repair kits in DM mode....................................................

Side note: The repair kit value is outdated, it was probably meant to be 4000 HP since Health and Damage were both increased by 10 times. Besides, repair kits have been nerfed quite a lot. With that logic, we should remove all supplies :/

This response illustrates the horrid incompetence of the developers.  Perhaps if they considered a large reward for those who were affected by the drug experiments, it would have received a more positive reception.  But they just couldn't bring themselves to do it, right?

On a broader scale, the fact that such experiments were even needed in the first place was the issue.  They're trying to fix a mechanism that is inherently broken.  It started when they designed the game in such a way to make players reliant on equipment and complete seal-clubbing of casual players instead of skill.    There isn't enough variety and expansion, they can only go up and up.  If a game can't make money without constantly increasing the equipment powerhouse ceiling, it's already failed.

It's why the players are leaving in droves and they AREN"T COMING BACK.  With another game, you can leave for a while and come back for a casual spot of entertainment when you feel like it.  With Tanki, everyone who comes back has a FEAR of what Tanki has done to their account and game that they loved so much.  And it's this fear that keeps them away.

I haven't played this game in a while, so sorry if this is a dumb question. What happened to the daily bonuses?

They were taken out at the same time Daily Missions were introduced to the game.

The idea was to prevent players from merely logging in and stacking up supplies and reward players who actually spent time on the game.

As of right now, the Daily Missions give very large rewards at the end of every week, if you complete one every day.  The amount is subject to change.  But anyways, Daily Missions give the same if not more supplies and lots of crystals as well/

Thanks for the quick reply. That makes sense, as if there were both, people would have tons of supplies.

The simple answer is yes! Although the more you buy, the more it costs, a double damage, speed boost, double armor, mine, or health box will often get you out of a tight jam.

Hope this helps! Leave your opinion below! :)

Supplies really need to be nerfed. Speed boost, having a 30% increase, is a perfectly fine supply, and I think it should stay that way. How does Tanki allow double damage and double armor to be +100%? That is ridiculous and it breaks the game. Because of speed boost, I know Tanki knows very well what they should put it at, which is 30% for each of them.

Speed boost increases the tank's speed by 40%.*

30%, 40%. those are all bearable amounts. Whereas 100% is game breaking.

If supplies are ever nerfed, they should increase the duration to a minute because it still costs 50 crystals.

I started using my supplies a few days ago because I realized I have enough stored to drug when I feel like it until my hiatus this summer, when container rewards and mission rewards (and chains) are factored in.

I dislike drugs. It bothers me that they are so game changing. I play isida on this account, and I did fairly well, score wise. Since I started drugging moderately in battles, my average score per match nearly doubled. Largely because suddenly I can run flags effectively, not just heal like I did for so long. That's a HUGE difference. And I'm using a gun and tank that aren't necessarily the best suited for drugging because they are energy based, short range, and medium rather than fast (for closing distances) or heavy (for tanking damage). That increase was because when I spawn, I use a nitro and then a double armor. RK if I have a flag. That's all it takes.

Now, that bothers me. Just a few keystrokes make my tank that much more powerful. And I know what it's like to be on the other team and have a double armored tank moving extra fast move through your base and get out of sight before you can kill them to save your flag. I don't think that's fun, and I think most people agree.

HOWEVER,

Tanki has done a good job balancing the drugs out between users. The drugs themselves? OP as heck. But I haven't spent money on this game, and I can still kick the trash out of some buyers with the supplies I get for free from missions etc. That's a good thing. I won't always be able to keep up with buyers; they can MU and purchase equipment much faster than me. They can use more drugs for longer because they can buy more. But in the short term, or when I feel like it, I can directly compete with them, and that is balanced.

Long story short, I like pro battles with no supplies. They feel more intense to me and I can compete better because I'm not good at using supplies. But as far as supplies go, Tanki has done a good job of balancing out the distribution more than when I started my first account a few years ago.
