Could someone please tell me how the ratings system works, what make you go up or down. How are they Calculated?.

I see people who are a much better rating then me who are many ranks lower and i see many people who are ranked much worse then me who have a much better rating.

The number next to those arrows shows the points you got so far in Tanki rating system...the better your performance in battles, the more points you get. The more points you get, the higher in hall of fame you will be. I'm 67,489th. :D

P.S: Since D/L has implicit effect on calculating rating, it is obvious that a drugger who will have mostly great D/L and crystal earnings, will also have a better rating. I know this guy , he is a hardcore drugger and contrary to his rank, his rating is around 3,000. Which i think even for a drugger, it is still a great rating.

to be honest all you need to do is stay perfect till you can get drugs than get shaft. than you can stay with a perfect record and be 1 ranked

That sounds right but, it is not....why?...well cause your rating wont get better just cause you will have an insanely high D/L...you need to have a great score as well as get good fund in the end(means WIN)....especially Shafters, can't really decide the outcome of a battle (mainly talking about CTF battles). No matter how much you drug with a Shaft..you can't really cover the whole map...there are always gonna be enemy druggers slipping from your sight with your flag and capping...which willl make you lose, if you don't have a good enough team at your side...therefore, you wont get fund, so no rating points as well.

its 30 k not 3k^

Nope...it is 3k for sure...just go check his screenshots and videos....i myself was saying that it was fake the first time i saw it but...i guess if you drug all the time from the making of your account (add maybe a score multiplyer),then it may be possible.

Green = Position in Hall of fame (meaning there are X Number of players better than the player with the rating) (smaller amount is better, meaning number 1 is the ultimate Tanki player)

Grey = Rating which is calculated by formula (SQRT(experience_points*(kills/deaths))+(earned_crystals)/200.)  Bigger is better in this

okay i understand the rating # .... and how that works.

But what is the number after the arrow that points up or down turns green or red. I understand the higher the better but don't get what its for, what kind of position should this number be for different ranks to be classed as good?

it's your rating, the higher is bigger, When it turns green, it means you are climbing up the rating, red means you are going down, well for me, am a drugger, my rating is 1896.
