It's not only that. Hornet is fast and can protect much more then wasp. That's why. :D :D

Nope.

At M1, the difference in health is 23 points. That's about 1 shot from Ricochet, or 2 from Twins; not much. The difference in speed is 0.82, which is quite a bit higher. The difference in turning speed is 5.5, which contributes a lot to the handling. At the M1 level (which is what you're going to be using for a while), I'm pretty sure that Wasp is better than Hornet. It also unlocks 2 ranks earlier and is about half the price.

i already said why in the test period with smart cooldowns, anyways,i'll say it again

with hornet, you can strafe way more easier with firebird,as the flame doesnt go above your enemies, and you aren't wasting your precious energy..

also hornet has more stability... just a bit,but if you get flipped on one side with firebird,it's not a good situation cx

wasp fire is good for its speed, but my style of playing requires more power stat than wasp has (at least, with m4 fire/wasp-hornet)

i am myself a wasp fire user, but i think it goes better with freeze, since you would have to circle either way.. and circling with wasp freeze is not possible to be stopped cx

although this should be said in the firebird topic,it regards hornet also..

edit: i almost never write such walls of text,be proud

Ok, fair points. But I find the drift gets in the way far too much. With Wasp, you can keep a more precise, wider circle around your opponent, still allowing you to get all your flame on him/her.

i just strafe with firebird, but agree on the circling with freeze

I love this hull, I've been using it since I first got it m0 before the rebalance at sergeant major. Its just perfect. Amazing speed, yet it still has the stability to support it.

Speed is only amazing if you have never used Wasp .-.

Wasp may have the best speed, but it's too unstable and weak. 1 shot and your either flipped or dead. Don't use the excuse "Not if you know how to use it." Because no matter how you use it, whether your sneaky, drugging, or very good with Wasp, you can never get past it's low health and low stability. Edited by Dark-Rim

^ That is a complete and utter lie. You act like Hornet has 100HP more than Wasp. Guess what, it's only 20! 1 shot - flipped or dead? ANOTHER LIE. The only turret this applies to is Shaft, which also kills Hornet in 1 shot. Not to mention, most Wasp users are smart enough to buy a protective paint. As for the stability, a skilled Wasper can DEFINITELY get past this!! How could you not think so???  SMH at you...

I did not say health was the only reason. railgun or shaft are almost always 1 shot and if a protection paint is in use, the massive impact force will flip you. And a good shot from Smoky Thunder or Ricochet could easily flip you over, no matter how "skilled" you are, you will always be driving and making turns.
