it turns out it is hornet vs wasps here

wasp is quite unstable even against a rail ( god forbids twin) while hornet is far more stable and is also lower then wasp .

otherwise it has the exact size to fit through spaces like in noise between the railing and that big tin hut etc. unlike any other i mean other then wasp.

also its hp is perfect to atleast prevent a direct hit from anything other then shaft ( it gives u some time to save urself or keep attacking if u were hit once which is no way possible for wasp

( ignore grammaticals )

Hornet isn't that well defended against shafts. Also, being a light tank, it's a great target for one shotting with thunder, shaft, railgun and smoky.

It really is. In-between speed, takes drift from Hunter... it's pretty much a mix of both.

Curious how I can love Wasp and Hunter so much and not like Hornet .-.

bc you have M1

Probably since everyone uses it and you're used to Wasp. :P

Anyway, I am glad I purchased M2 Hornet. It's fast (only a little slower than my Wasp, not enough to notice), maneuverable (I've gotten used to the drifting now), and has good health (certainly more than my Wasp). The handling is actually not that bad; the turning speed is alright, it's fairly stable, and the drift doesn't really mess with my driving much. I'm going to ditch it for M2 Wasp when I get to Colonel, since it's arguably better.

Overall, I think it's well worth the crystals.

Don't ditch it altogether, as Hornet is arguably better with certain turrets, like Thunder...

Finally some sense on this Hornet topic... ;)

From WO2 till Colonel you will have a clear advantage over the Wasp M1. And as Greyat rightfully says don 't ditch it too soon.

You could even skip the Wasp M2 and go straight to MJ general with your Hornet M2.

From Colonel till MJ General it is just two ranks...Wasp-lovers: bring it on...

Well, its exactly what I 'm going to do with an alt.account. Will equip the Hornet M2 (MU 'd HP) with

the Rail M2/Thunder M2 and possibly the new machinegun that they show mounted on a Hornet M3 in the V-Logs.

Your excellent Smoky guide is proof enough that you Killerpenguin are not the guy to make bad decisions and

purchasing the Hornet M2 is certainly not one of those IMO!

Enjoy stability, a very decent speed and health and as you wrote drifting is no longer an issue if you get used to it.

Nice bonus is that you are also training your XP-skills in every regular battle while using the Hornet.

Great small hull!

^I see far more hornets upside down compared to wasps lol

Anyway, Wasp has superior speed with negligible HP difference from Hornet. TBH Wasp or Hornet needs to be changed, I feel that Hornet and Wasp are too similar past M1.

Because Hornets are generally more common than Wasps...

And the negligible HP difference occurs at M2...

If we got two completely equal players who know all the ins and outs of their hull,

and are also equal in skills: it 's a fact that the Wasp will flip more in comparison.

That 's just a matter of a lower weight combined with the smaller chassis the Wasp has.

The Wasp has plenty of other advantages compared to the Hornet like speed, braking, better manoeuvrability etc.

but I 'm just amazed how Wasp players adore their hull, like there 's nothing wrong with it.

Sometimes I 'm almost starting to believe it has even more HP than a Mammoth!

A good player should know the disadvantages of his hull, acknowledges them and find ways

to deal with them.

Another fact: fairytales just won 't help with improving skills. -_-
