If we got two completely equal players who know all the ins and outs of their hull,

and are also equal in skills: it 's a fact that the Wasp will flip more in comparison.

That 's just a matter of a lower weight combined with the smaller chassis the Wasp has.

The Wasp has plenty of other advantages compared to the Hornet like speed, braking, better manoeuvrability etc.

but I 'm just amazed how Wasp players adore their hull, like there 's nothing wrong with it.

Sometimes I 'm almost starting to believe it has even more HP than a Mammoth!

A good player should know the disadvantages of his hull, acknowledges them and find ways

to deal with them.

Another fact: fairytales just won 't help with improving skills. -_-

I assume you are talking about a duel right? XP vs BP? Well yes, a Wasp would flip more (though at higher modifications, I have found that if a Wasp shoots with rail and is hit by a rail at the same time, it will flip 360 degrees and land on its tracks again. Hornet lands on its back ;)) And yes, this is because of the design of the hull. All things have weaknesses, but I also believe that weaknesses can be overcame.  I adore Wasp because of its gameplay, not because "there's nothing wrong with it." "Sometimes I 'm almost starting to believe it has even more HP than a Mammoth!" <-- That was what all the Hornet users were making me think a while back. We've never claimed that is had much HP, we've just said that there are ways around that ;) Countless times have I heard it said or implied that Hornet has just so much more HP than Wasp-- and that's not true.

"A good player should know the disadvantages of his hull, acknowledges them and find ways

to deal with them." - I believe this is the point I just made ;) :) Agreed 100%.

Fairytales? Which fairytales? :)

Just saw this now:

Anyway, Wasp has superior speed with negligible HP difference from Hornet. TBH Wasp or Hornet needs to be changed, I feel that Hornet and Wasp are too similar past M1.

  1. Only at M2...
  2. No no no no no no NO. If you are saying that, you are shunned from the Wasp community! :P Hornet and Wasp's differences are made GREATER past M1- There is a lot of difference in style and gameplay!

Yes, your right. The Wasps flips 360 degrees and will ofcourse land on its tracks,

hence they will change the name into "Cat" I 've heard.

It 's still a rumour, but I heard this from a very reliable source...

And ofcourse who cares about HP in the first place.

You can always dodge every shot that is fired at you when you have a Wasp!

Dreams do come true!

No; just no.

From a person who ACTUALLY OWNS M3 WASP, like with Hornet, Wasp will flip to a wrong-side-up position when hit and is shooting simultaneously.

What you've described may very well be possible; but it's unlikely, if so.

When both Rails are M3? Are you sure of this? I've seen it happen and experienced it myself on the test server...

Ok, I guess sometimes it won't work out, but it must happen somewhat often. I've done that with my M1 Rail (being hit by an M3), so it is definitely more than possible with M3s

I doubt it works with every possible angle your turret can be pointing.

Hornet, on the other hand, does not... usually.

Why can't Wasp be able to reach 15 max speed m4 but Hornet have the ability to get 240 hp M4 It'd make the hulls have a far more noticable difference, and increase the skill cieling of Wasp

The "Hammer" fits well on Hornet; especially on small-medium maps.

Hammer isn't suited for heavy hulls at all, except in small maps.

Hornet is good for just about any gun.

Hornet has 210 max MU health, not 240. At M4, hulls are all balanced, since the difference in their speed and health is based on 1 MPH = 30 health. A M4 Wasp has 180 health. A M4 Hornet has 180 + 30 (since it's 1 MPH slower)  = 210 health.

This - I didn't bother saying anything since I had the mindset I'd receive even more incorrect facts.

Ok, didn 't know that.
