Wasp is not for scouting (IMO). Wasp is the type of hull where you put Armor and N20 on and rush into the enemy base without looking and prey you don't die.

Hornet is my 1-stop for everything. I just mount thunder or rail depending on whether I want to kill people or capture flags. Always use tundra so M1 rail can't 1-shot me. Non micro-upgraded M2 has trouble too sometimes, which is suprising since I did the maths using the quoted damage and it didn't work out. I like to think that my hornet is magic

my dream tank is hornet m3 with railgun m3. theyre the only things i am going to bother upgrading to m2.

Best hull ever.Too OP when compared to Wasp.Wasp is too weak and trades 16 HP for 1 speed.That's about 1 more ricochet shot.Other hulls except maybe Hunter are too slow.I mostly play CTF and Hornet is the best bet.Goes good with any turret except Thunder and Vulcan.

Though,in DM,Iam the target of killing for everyone.

I used it with Twins before but now it's Ricochet.Cool hull!

Everythink will change with time...

Except XP/BP, generally players prefer small-medium maps for crowded games.

Hornet loses its effectivesness with crowded games.

 

Maybe skills can save you, who knows... I have seen lots of hornet winners...

i really think Hornet is the best choice for starters and even experienced players. It has speed and a good armor level ... the size of the hull makes another advantage. it can get through all the small spaces in all maps, just like Wasp can.. but it still has more armor. non-skilled players may not know how to manuvre Hornet well, but manuvering Wasp is even harder. Anyway, in my opinion Hornet is best choice for all ranks but Hunter stands a great option and i strongly recomand to try both Hunter and Hornet gameplays. im looking forward in haveing Hunter M1... ( i already have Hornet M1)

True. If i'm not mistaken, it is Tanki's most popular hull. The only problem is that it is hard to control, especially when you turn. It takes a while to master but indeed, it is a great balance between speed and armor.

I upgraded to the Super Hornet because I wanted to slowly upgrade my M3 Shaft.

I had great success against the firing lines at Monte Carlo, but I've been very disappointed in some of my teams. Just moments ago, I was holding the Blue Flag, and handed it off to another player so that I could go get our Red Flag back. I jumped over, killed two Shafts, and found the Isida holding our flag. I killed him and two more Reds, and returned our flag! This would allow the Blue team to score the flag...except they didn't :( 

Out in plain view, the guy holding it was shot, as two Red players got past everybody and returned the enemy flag. Not only that, they took ours again and captured it shortly thereafter.

How do you play with a team that is both that weak and that incompetent?? You can't coach them, even when they do speak your language.

True. If i'm not mistaken, it is Tanki's most popular hull. The only problem is that it is hard to control, especially when you turn. It takes a while to master but indeed, it is a great balance between speed and armor.

The reason may be that "Hunter cannot jump" as at Monte Carlo. It is not appreciably faster than Viking, or tougher than Hornet.

I do use Hunter as an "unflippable" platform on some battles rather than making the Super Hornet too heavy to fly....

I like wasp and hornet a lot but i have to say hornet is better just because wasp is a one shot hull.I plan to get m2 hornet soon to go with my m2 izada.PS izada is amazing not lame!!!!

With hornet m1 I won't get 1 shoted by rails and shafts At your rank, the people you're going against will be using M1 or possibly M2 Shaft. M1 Shaft has no problems taking out M1 Hornets, and M2 Shafts don't even need to try in order to destroy you. You'll get one shotted either way.

I die a lot by 1 shot of rail m1 Not very likely. I think that's only happened once or twice to me, since your opponent would have to be pretty lucky in order for their shot to deal damage above 103.6. A Railgun protection paint (even Forester) will prevent that from happening.

And once in the blue moon I get killed in 1 shot by rail m0 even when the person isn't using drugs That's extremely unlikely- you'd need a close to fully micro-upgraded M0 Railgun and insane luck to do that. Almost nobody has a fully micro-upgraded M0 Railgun, and those that do are even less likely to score a killing hit, so you don't have to worry about it.

M2 Hornet is a lot better than M1 Hornet. You can buy M1 Hornet on the sale if you're planning on getting M2 Hornet later, but it's not going to be that useful in combat until you upgrade it to M2.
