i really think Hornet is the best choice for starters and even experienced players. It has speed and a good armor level ... the size of the hull makes another advantage. it can get through all the small spaces in all maps, just like Wasp can.. but it still has more armor. non-skilled players may not know how to manuvre Hornet well, but manuvering Wasp is even harder. Anyway, in my opinion Hornet is best choice for all ranks but Hunter stands a great option and i strongly recomand to try both Hunter and Hornet gameplays. im looking forward in haveing Hunter M1... ( i already have Hornet M1)

I'm not convinced that hornet is a good starter hull, as most noobs can't use its speed to the full (I've seen colnels who can't turn their turrets, let alone at the lower ranks). Really, a noobs choice is twins-mammoth, where you can stick yourself in the middle of a Sandal DM and pretend you're a stationary turret.

The reason may be that "Hunter cannot jump" as at Monte Carlo. It is not appreciably faster than Viking, or tougher than Hornet.

I do use Hunter as an "unflippable" platform on some battles rather than making the Super Hornet too heavy to fly....

I've seen viking M2 make the jump in Monte. I reckon it was MUed tho.

You'd know, Warrant Officer.

Geez.

It's not like I play tanki or know what I'm talking about.

It SHOULD be the starter hull, because admit it; no actual new player uses any other hull BUT Hornet. (If you object, I beg to differ!)

I started with Wasp and turned to Dictator.

On my noob account I use viking-twins and shred those noob hornets.

I got 19000 crystals in gold boxes through may holidays and wasted them all on hornet m1

My results with hornet m1 are a lot better than my results with wasp m1 are

Wasp is for fun, hornet is for fair and steady performance.

...and fun ;)

Hornet M3 is slower than M2 Wasp... so now after having M2 Wasp, M3 Hornet on the test server feels like crap XD

Next time try a fully upgraded Hornet M4 except the parameter for the turning speed: leave this at complete zero.

For a true Waspy it will still feel like crap, I know...though maybe a bit less crap... :D

Wasp isn't that fun when I keep flipping you with railgun or smoky.

Hornet has balance, forget the extra helth, the balance is suberbly useful.

There are tricks to keep upright when getting hit by Rails..... just learn them. They only thing that flips me these days are either Hammers getting me from the side or my stupid actions (the latter of the 2 happens far more)

Because Wasp invented for player, who like torture himself.

Well torture isn't such a bad thing since it includes ROFL at Rails who missed/didn't flip me, taunting all sorts of tanks, and dying because of people calling me a hacker because I didn't flip or dodged a shot for me at least

Wasp is for fun, hornet is for fair and steady performance.

Fun=point of a game. And you can have a just as good battle with Wasp as you can with Hornet. Hornet just has a lot lower skill level to use properly (which is boring IMO)

mhm. Right.

Hornet is too slow, feels like an M1 when compared to Wasp on test server

And wasp is too unstable. You have no idea how many waps I've flipped over the years.

Would never trade extra weight for sub10sec flag caps and no drift
