I love Hornet because of its balance between the speed of Wasp and the armor of Viking. Hornet is in between. Agility has been a priority among the ones who love to dash around, and that is me. I think Hornet works well with any turret, but the balance might not be as good when it is fitted with Shaft.

I also like the fact that Hornet drifts. This way I can make tighter turns. In fact, I found it so agile that it had been a long time since I last widely used my Z and X tank turret controls.

A very popular hull.

Some people seem to think it's stronger than it actually is though..

it works really good with all my weapons

Which is best m2 turret with m2 hornet?

I will buy stinger and then legend kit but I want something to take me to legend as isida won't last that long...maybe.

The best turret for hornet m2 is firebird m2

The problem with is hornet is hornet m2.  Hornet m2 has almost no increases from m1 and costs 70500.  Too expensive for a 20 hp and .5 speed boost don't you think?

Hornet is my personal fav. hull.

Anyway, does anyone have any ideas why hornet is so common? We cant see the statistic of hulls used but hornet must be the most common, on all ranks probably, by a very large amount.

I love Railgun and Hornet fits it excellent. Wasp is too unstable, not when driving but when taking hits. I often attack in "peekaboo" style and Wasp simply cant handle hits well from the sides.

i agree wasp is too unstable

Can someone please tell me here Which Protection module i need to buy for Hornet M2 to be able to join XP battles?
As i see people are using 20% but the module is only available in 10%, 15% and 25%.. If i buy the one which provides 25% will i still be able to Join? what is the % Limit for M2 Hornet in XP?

Paint Separation Update

Q: How about XP/BP?

A: Good news for XP/BP players! Now if you have a M2 Wasp or M2 Hornet the system will automatically equip the protection for you, even if you don't have any sort of Rail-protection module in your garage, and incase you are wearing one that has more protection the system will reduce it accordingly. However, it should be noted that now M2 Wasp will equip 10% (instead of the previous 20%) and M3 Wasp will not be able to equip any sort of protection. This was done to balance XP/BP games.

I really enjoy this hull, great for offensive players that use the firebird and isilda, you may not agree, but this is probably the best of the two light hulls. However, paring this with high-recoil turrets often end up in flipping. Considering I own all the turrets and hulls, pairing this with the Isilda is a great tactic you should definately try. My absolute favorite Hull!
