But at the same time hornet accelerates faster, meaning hornet is better in maps like Iran (in the centre of the map especially) where you need to turn often and thus slow down etc... ;)

 

Personally, I think both light hulls need a slight buff in damage, they're too weak rn

Yeah, I think so too... It feels like a crappier version of Wasp with slightly better stability at this point.

 

But at the same time hornet accelerates faster, meaning hornet is better in maps like Iran (in the centre of the map especially) where you need to turn often and thus slow down etc... ;)

I've found that Wasp is better at turning without sliding or drifting though.

everyones complaining about how hornet is inferior to wasp now lol, when hunter and mammoth have it off a lot worse. Only bettering viking and titan by weight and power which literally makes barely any difference in gameplay.

 

you hornet users should be thankful for what you got, and you didn't get screwed over as badly by the current rebalance...

I played Viking a lot before the "rebalance".  It was a great, stable platform that allowed ranged weapons to target enemies even while being hit. Especially good with smoky.

 

Then they switched the Hunter and Viking Characteristics.  Now my Viking is faster, but much less stable.  it is like a lower, flatter Hornet with less speed.

 

So I have opposite opinion from yourself - I'd rather have Hunter - which is now what the "old" Viking was.

viking m3 has a crappy design it pains me to see it everywhere!

IMO Shaft looks more like the gun the M4 Abrams sports.

honestly viking got what was inevitable, it was just plain out too OP. nobody bothered with dictator or hunter since viking was perfect. thats what happens when a hull is over used and viking players should have been prepared..

Viking was not perfect. It was slower than Hunter. Players who preferred speed over stability chose Hunter - easier to cap flags with Hunter do to speed.

I've got the Hornet M2 MU'd to 7/10.  Yes the drift is good and makes using any other hull seem really strange.

But even at M2 7/10 it's weak - I've got 1676 armour and about the only thing that's worse is Wasp.  The tinfoil armour is what gets me killed every time.

It's Viking equivalent is 2567 armour, so that's what I'm going for next.

Hornet's okay for M0, and M1 but by M2 everything else waaay outclasses it.
