Hi guys :),  today i just buyed hornet M2, but it was such a waste! Even I died by railgun M1 or M2 in two shoots. <_<  

Just tell me how much upgrade need it to be stronger. :mellow:

Well, it's going to be weak. that's the price you pay for getting it early.

 

If you don't like getting 2-shotted (or 1 with DP) by M2 rail I would get a cheap Rail protection module. The module I wear is only 10% against rail, nothing else, and it pays off.  ;)

I like hornet more then wasp. Hornet 'feels' more stable. Stil I would like it when they up the protection or speed so on paper it will be more equal to the wasp.

So true. I was lucky to get an M3 kit before the rebalance (now I can't get any M3 anymore because of my rank) and the protection (kodiak T-C-M3) against thunder, twins and rail is so usefull! I think this is the most usefull protection module. My hornet can take several railgun shots.

Personally, I use HORNET M1, upgraded 50/50, as the armour is alright, and it's speed is quite fast.  :) I would say that HORNET is one of the best choices to capture a flag in CTF mode as a tanker will need the speed of HORNET to capture the flag. The other choices of hulls which is suitable to capture a flag are HUNTER, as the amour is strong, and VIKING, as its speed and amour is quite good. However, I would like to recommend fresh tankers to remember to get a SPEED BOOST when using HUNTER or VIKING, as at times their speed is quite irritatingly slow. :D

If that is SO TRUE, then I would very probably get protection for RAILGUN. Hey! I thought we were supposed to discuss hornet?! Oops! Sorry, can't help it! :D

I was told by a friend in game yesterday, that m2 Hornet is underpowered. He said m1 hornet is good, but m2 is weak. I haven't 61st bought m2 Hornet, so I can't speak on that, but I love my m1 with any turret.

As a smoky/titan there is no better prey than hornet/rails, who are so easy to deflect :lol:  B)

Shaft can one shot a hornet that is one modification higher than it. It's true.

Well, Shaft can one-shot a higher-tier light tank, and it's been that way for a long time. Otherwise the Shafts' would find themselves extremely ineffective when playing with higher ranks. The whole point of countering Shaft is not to get hit in the first place.

 

In addition, hornet M2 is the worst M2 hull.  But hornet M3 is better than Hunter M2, obviously. They are not in the same class.

Light hulls do have a better chance at avoidance.

They have the same health, but wasps can be targeted more often because of instincts that tell that wasp has lower health.

You can't fit a hull, on a hull.

Anyway's; Hornet is a little dull once you've been playing with Wasp for longer.

 

 

Wasp is definitely better in stats, Way faster than Hornet.

And stability is something you can train.

Get Wasp.  :lol:

wasp is a hull with no armor  <_< it is soo easy to kill and the speed of hornet get very fast at m2 only  B)

I just bought M1 of this and am quite disappointed with the result with using it. I don't notice the speed difference from M0 and my health just keeps going down which is annoying <_< . in my opinion it is not much better than M0 but m0 has a little less speed,armour+health but not much difference
