Hi all... now i am using M1 Isida with M0 hornet. would it be recommended that i continue to upgrade this set of weapon and hull to the max of M3? :)

Hornet Smoky : Yes

Hornet Fire : of course yes

Hornet Twins : Yes

Hornet Railgun : its amazing

Hornet Isida : yes

Hornet Thunder : Yes

Hornet Freeze : Yes

Hornet Rico : Yes

Hornet Shaft : Yes

Yes, I use hornet often with rico and fire!

Got a 2.43 D/L today with hornet m1 firebird m1 like 53 kills & 23 deaths In a 20 minute battle i think. Got 1st place & earned 250 crystals. Pretty awesome :D

It is a bit difficult with ricochet, considering you might just fall of by your own recoil.

waps is pretty funny,but is good only at m2 and m3,m1 gets killed with rail m1 shoot(50%chance),rail m2 one shoot(99%),2 thunder hits(almost all the time)for m1 i dont recomend,but m2 and m3 are nice

Well. There is a thing called protective paints. You can survive railgun M1 every time if you use a paint which has 10% protection or above from railgun. Though it can one shot you sometimes if you use forester. With tundra (30% protection from railgun) It is guaranteed you will survive M1 railgun shot, and even railgun M2 shots, but might get killed.

Upgrade to M1, leave it until you reach colonel, ugprade to M2, use it until general and you get M3. Geddit?

If Hornet will drift; with M3 increased speed and reduced maneuverability - will it get round a confined 90 degree corner without smashing into the wall etc? Or will Hornet M3 only be usable in big open maps?

I tried it in test server, it was the most comfortable hull for me, that drift really helps in avoiding hitting walls.

Drifting -> Shot on the side by Railgun -> Barrel-roll.

 

(I've got to say, on the new Physics update, Hornet seems like the best hull around)

Lol, I went up a ramp on red side of Industrial zone, a railgun shot me, I flipped on the container, when I came down I was perfectly fine. It looked like some sort of parkour trick done in real life. xD

Eh. That's if you're a person who favors Armor over speed, but still takes speed into a little bit of consideration. But if you're a person who loves having the power of speed on your side, but still want to rely on the hull's stability instead of your own, then Hornet.

depends on your gamestyle, in no supplies battles I prefer hornet.
