So, I tip over onto that long ramp in Moon Silence and fire; above are the results of my experiment

Anyone know why this happens?

This happens with rico anywhere if you flip over. Not just in low gravity. Also with a lot of other weapons, you can see it if it is flipped such as freeze.

I know, but why?

I was parkouring and the same thing happened to me. I'm not sure why it happens, but I have an idea, since the gravity is low or non-existent, so your tank is sort of hovering about the ground, not fully on the floor, so when you shoot the bullets ' shoot from under the ground, but from on top of it, since your turret isn't fully on the ground. Notice how this doesn't happen in any other map with gravity.

Does it not? Well, that might be a reason...

I don't even know why you were using rico in the first place, lol

Your bullets are now inside of the ramp, they're just bouncing of the sides of it now. The "machine gun" effect is from a lot of bullets bouncing and making noise, your turret is shooting normally.

^This.

Agreed.

Disagreed. Those have all been created from one bullet; I tapped the space bar, fired one bullet, and the "machine gun" effect occurred...

Actually, when it goes through that ramp, game thinks that everytime the rico ball moves, it hits a wall, but since it is inside it, it doesn't turn or something, unless it hits a side.

That happens with everyone. That is only one plasma shot and it can't give damage to anyone. Maybe it happens because it moves inside the floor. And a part of it is visible. LOL idk

Yes, 1 bullet is making that noise, but the other bullets are bouncing with it in time. Therefore, the resonance from all of the bullets amplifies the noise.

This has nothing to do with it... That happens in any map if you are flipped.

Hmm, you're probably right ^_^

Look, I'm certain I fired just one bullet, not multiple bullets at once... You can tell by the recoil of a tank how many shots are fired, I wasn't even using sound to check that.

This answer makes the most sense to me, thanks for the explanation :)
