I would call it rank up parties up to a certain point.

200 XP wouldn't be such a big deal.... but I've seen people doing a rank up party when they were 3000 XP points away.

 

But, there are many variants of rank up parties.

Most of them end with lined-up tanks... I don't see anything wrong about that if they've battled the normal way to that point.

Usually I start the rank party when I need 1-20 points. The party is then only about ranking and not 'earning' 3k points like splitterpoint said. :)

You rank when you rank, this can be a great waste of time, (some guy wanted to rank up, I joined the battle but left after five mins because we were going nowhere - he created two more rank battles but those failed and ended up ranking over an hour later).

I love Ranking up parties but it's also a waste of time cause i really fail making the battles then i have to make other battles which takes a lack of time to get it alright, but instead i could go rank up by myself in polygon..  -_-

You can just go to battle and kill people untill you rank.

If u have a rank-up party there tend to be more of those annoying "grats", "congrats", "gratz", and "congratulations" messages that I always feel the need to say "ty" to, which is too much attention for me personally.
