M2 thunder or M2 smoky

My main account is Colonel and the hulls i use are mammoth and smoky.... So which one? And why?

Some people do, however, I believe it's mainly due to the fact that you need HIGH protection for it to be effective as it's the critical shots that due a lot of damage and no matter what, it's not worth getting it as you could still get killed as the smoky protection doesn't really affect the damage
