Why is Tanki Getting boring and things that should be added..

Things to Add

  • Crystals boxes should be given in different amounts such as 10, 20, 50...
  • New turrets and hulls seriously need to be added...
  • When people rank up say to warrant officer they should get an award of crystals or drugs... the more the higher rank they ranked to...
  • New game mechanisms/ ways to play should be implemented such as moving systems that can move player or knock them off their course...

Things to change

  • Crystals should either be easier to get or upgrades should be cheaper because even after the new updates the game playing time to crystal amount award is still very low and is not practical unless the goal of the game was to make people no lifers...
  • I know new maps are being developed but there is only a few that have unique characteristics... such as Abyss and Iran. One has a secret room and the other has a cool tunnel... the secret room should somewhere where players can get extra crystal boxes or a place where the gold box falls.
  • Basically the game play is starting to get boring, maybe more graphic effects and better damage animations would be nice( what is the little dot thing half the guns make on walls all over the place?!?)
  • After testing on the test server I must say micro upgrades is a great idea and is a step in the right direction but the probability factor is too much of a hassle to spend crystals(sometimes a good amount) on a chance where is may not even upgrade... also what is the point of making players wait for their tank or gun to be upgraded? There is no value other than to earn Tanki a little more money...

  • Thanks for taking into consideration how us players feel about this game, its a great game engine and is very addicting, even from the beginning it was a great game, but please continue to hear our requests and make the game a constant pleasure to play.

  • If crystal boxes would be given out in 20, 30 and 50, the amount of multers (collectors) would increase very very rapidly, ruining most games for normal players. Bad idea.
  • New turrets and hulls will start being developed soon, as soon as the friends system and MUs are out, as Semyon has said recently at http://tankionline.com/en/blog/new-turrets-and-hulls-in-tanki-online/
  • Reward for ranking up has been suggested on feedback already, and has not yet been declined, so it may have potential.
  • As mentioned in the post about new turrets and hulls, Tanki will start implementing new game mechanics, with more uniqueness and interaction. We will have awesome possibilities with that!

 

  • I think any MMO game that makes people no-lifers have reached their goal. The primary goal of any game is to make you addicted to it; the more - the better.
  • If there were "secret gold box rooms", the amount of multers would rise even higher than your first suggestion. Battles would be full of people just sitting around in the secret rooms waiting for the boxes to fall. Believe me, they wouldn't stay secret for long, and even the voting system wouldn't be able to help us then.
  • Check out the In Development page, it's full of upcoming updates (near and distant future), many of them focused on dynamic gameplay. And I don't agree that the game is boring. Tired of one style of gameplay? Try another.

The sole reason that Tanki Online exists is to make money. This video game is not the personal hobby of some crazy billionaire. No, running Tanki is many people's job and they need to make money off of it to support themselves and/or their families.

New turrets and hulls are already planned and shall be the developers next big project after the MU's. Announced to be introduced early next year. Also the idea of having crystal boxes with higher number of crys in them has already been suggested and declined sorry...
