M3 Isida or M3 Hornet?

Haven't decided which one to get FIRST... I've always gone with my rule that getting a turret is more important than getting a hull but I think I would be able to use my m3 hornet with a lot more turrets as it's extremely versatile but on the other hand, m3 isida is pretty powerful and does lots of damage. Just need an opinion on this

Not that I'm anyone to listen to, but I would suggest the Isida, as the difference will be a lot more noticeable with the new turret. M3 hornet still dies from one shaft snipe, two rail shots, 3 thunder shots, is totally immobilized by twins, and dies very quickly from all short range turrets.

I understand where you are coming from but the main difference about m3 is probably the speed boost and not the health boost as 30 hp isn't too much more to have. Reasons why I might be getting it first are that it works well with my m2 twins and m2 isida. However, you are correct about isida and it does gain 8hp damage and heal boost and the change is a lot more noticeable...

I was in the same situation as you :huh:

 

M3 hornet is really beautiful (with lines and blue lights B)  ) and have speed + HP , but I think M3 isida is more powerful and useful  ( + it heals yourself a lot when you attack someone )

I've decided to wait for hornet -_-  and bought isida

I think the opinion is unanimous that you should get Izzy first. I think it'll help you gain experience and cry quicker than Hornet would.

I got an Hull before Turret and I didn't regret it really. . . .Reason why cause it was Wasp M1! And everyone else was so slow compared to me. And Wasp M1 were so rare at my time . .. . :lol:  Nobody could hit me and I capped flags so fast. Back in those days I used Freeze. . . :P  (before Rebalance. :o ) Then after that I got my M1 Weapon . . .forgot what was my first M1 Weapon . .

Get the Isida. . . . :D  The colors are superb anyway. Red in offense and really green in support. ^_^  So that rules out the external-look issue if you want to look nice. (Besides, Hornet M2 doesn't look that bad) And remember with an upgraded Isida equals more healing power and more offensive power, and Isida is great on light tanks because of that. You'll survive  . .. I'm pretty sure. Or if not at least you'll earn a ton of points in easy fashion . . . .I did that with M1 Isida/ M1 wasp in high rank battles. . . .

 

Unless of course you're so bored with that 8.0 Speed. I've used Wasp from Recruit~Major. So I've been pretty used to the speed and I even considered 8.0 speed slow. . .So if you really crave more speed then maybe M3 Hornet. I see you've got M2 Twins also. So it shouldn't be too bad. . . .(Although now I took a break from Wasp with Mammoth and when I use Wasp again I feel like I'm flying. :lol: )

In my eyes hornet, why?

If you come by the higher ranks, hornet m2 is a easy kill..

M3 railgun kill you in one shot, without power.

M3 thunder kill you in 2 shots, without power.

...

 

I think M2 isida is already a good weapon.. I see those days generalisimo's with m2 isida too..

After RB is the m3 version not much better then m2, as before the rebalance..

So I should go for hornet, but as you can see much people choose for isida first.

You should try out in test m2hornet with m3 isida, and m3 hornet with m2 isida.

I'm sure it is easier to have first a m3 hull, but that is only what I think.
