Clans... Teams.. So why not clubs?

So we have clans, and teams, why not let us make clubs? :D

 

 

It'll be fun, no rank requirement (club leader can make one if he/she wants)

No wars, just club activities. (club leaders can decide what activities they want to do) 

You can be in up to 5 clubs at the same time. You don't just have to stick with one club like clans and teams.

If you have at least one Mod to manage each section, I think we could pull it off.

 

Although I agree with some others that this is nearly pointless. The only reason I find it appealing is that you don't have to be in only one at a time.

or who can score the highest in a 30 min NS DM or stuff o_o

Or just use those clubs as a way to gather people around a similar interest - for instance "Railgunners" or "Photographers" or "Dog-lovers".

 

In order to not spam up the "Clubs" forum, you'd have to gather a certain amount of members in a certain amount of time before the thread is closed. And that can be pretty strict, that way only the very common interests will stay active. For example you need to get at least 40 club members in a week's time, otherwise your thread will be closed.

 

Likewise there will be a rank limited to open a club, for instance 3rd Lieutenant (like Teams), which will sort out the new players.

 

There can be a rank limit to join, but that isn't necessary, since anyone may share a common interest.

 

People can be limited to how many clubs they can join at once, but that isn't necessary either - just because I love Photograph, Snowboarding, Railguns, Vintage Cars and Cooking, doesn't mean I can't join the Musicians club.

 

Again this may seem like a huge undertaking, but getting 40 members in a week is no small task. Besides, if that does seem to easy, just make the number higher.

When you become a moderator (means never).

There already is too much work for the existing mods, creating other section and other groups of players would turn a barely handleable thing into a complete mess. You can still gather in skype conversations or facebook groups.
