Don't worry, in a month everyone who wasn't a rail user before will forget about their rails. It's not the end of the world. 2/3 of the people who bought rails will quit the game after 2 months, the other third mostly uses other weapons as their primary weapon. Those who love the rail and used the discount to their advantage are very few. Those who discovered the power of the rail and are now going to use it effectively are very few as well. It will just take a little time for things to calm down.

 

Speaking from experience, big/numerous discounts lead to some change in the economy. There is nothing factual about this, neither have I heard any rumors, but possible something's about to happen.

What's your guys' problem? No offense. All the noobs with railguns just works in your favor - easy kills, easy crystals. And yes, high ranks to gain more from discounts, but every discount is like that.
