Think about the people that have a bad internet connection... They wouldn't be able to play tanki anymore, if you want to talk to people ask their skype, also, there are a lot of people that speak a different language then you do.

Hello Tanki, I submit an idea for Voice communication in the game. Example I push the "v" button and can talk to players on my team. There could be a squad feature so say a group of 4 or 5 players could form a squad in game and be able to talk with each other. I have used this feature in other online games I have played like Battlefield 2. I have started a thread about it in the forums and the feedback is mixed if it would work or not but people like the idea of being able to Talk with each other. I know a lot of players use Skype and Teamspeak but those are with thier team or clan only. This would be any player could speak with any player "in squad" as to regulate who a player wants to talk to. The person who formed the squad would have the last say on who is in the squad or not. I have players that I play with on my friends list, maybe that could also be how you are able to talk with them, each player would have to at least be on the others friend list.

Thank you for the idea. The possibility of this idea being implemented depends on how difficult it is to develop. Currently you can use Skype for this. Semyon Kirov

 

I know every one uses Skype, I want to be able to talk to some one in game instantly. This would add a valuable and interesting feature to the game. As far as Lag is concerned this feature works just fine in other online games. If a player was worried about lag then just choose to not use the feature. If you find a player you enjoy playing and talking with you can add them to your Skype and go from there. I know a lot of you think it would not work, I believe it would work just fine and not hurt but improve the quality of game play for Tanki. The squad feature would eliminate any language problems you could form a Russian speaking or German or English squad

 

I will not push to hard on this but I am going to throw it out there every once and a while

Nice idea, But when you think of it, this isnt a download game just a simple enjoyable browser game, and its a tank game they dont go very well together but nice idea!

Stop with that 'signature'. Signature option is disabled on purpose, doing signatures manually is flood and bannable.

very bad idea. and what if one player swears? its bad to hear and moderators cant block him.. and it will has some more problems. lot of kids are playing this game and its not good when 7 years old kid talking to 57 years old man.. it will be good chance to break rules and dont get punishment for it. and using it some players can have lags.. and what if im listening music and dont want to hear your voice? what to do? so bad idea..

That would cause lots of lags. And i don't understand one thing: Why everyone wants to speak with others in game? Writing in Chat is perfect (for me) and does not cause lags

thats why I suggested the squad feature so that the person starting the squad would have final say in who was in the squad and therefore who talks to who
