Voice communication

its already there and developers denied. correct choice :)

The dev's did not deny it...If you read what I posted they said it will depend on the difficulty of implementation. A squad feature would determine who gets to talk to who.

Example, I start a 4 or 5 man squad and invite my friends, only the people in the squad would be able to talk to each other and the squad leader would have final say in who is in the squad

I know nothing about programming so I don't know how hard this would be, I do know it works just fine in other games I have played.

Sounds useful, but it would also be bad.  Scammers, trolls, etc, will use this feature to violate the rules, and they would actually get away with it.  I know, it sucks, doesn't it?  The scammers and trolls ruin it on us.

I dont understand how scammers, trolls and who ever else would be getting away with violating the rules. If a person does not want to talk with another player they can just leave the squad. or if some one joins the squad and is talking badly the person who formed the squad can kick that person. You can make you own squad and you would have control over who joins therefore you would have say in who gets to talk to you...very simple ...I think some of you guys are making it sound more complicated than it really is.

I said this before and I will say it again ...I have played other games that had the exact feature I am talking about without any problem what so ever. No lag, no talking to people I did not want to talk too and if I made the squad I picked who was in and who was not.

very bad idea. and what if one player swears? its bad to hear and moderators cant block him.. and it will has some more problems. lot of kids are playing this game and its not good when 7 years old kid talking to 57 years old man.. it will be good chance to break rules and dont get punishment for it. and using it some players can have lags.. and what if im listening music and dont want to hear your voice? what to do? so bad idea..

Make tanki a 16+ game. So those 'kids' who play should suffer if they want to play so much. If somebody swears they should know its a 16+ game, outlaws should suffer.

Interesting idea, but I think if voice communication was added, the game would lag many times more. Voice communication is a huge amount data sent across the wires between all the players, the traffic would be terrifying, and many people would not be able to play at all.

Hello Tankers...I have played other online games where you can, for example press the "B" button to talk with head set to your team mates. I think it would be awesome if Tanki could implement such a feature. I know a whole team of 10 on a big map would get a little "loud" maybe squad feature so a small team with in a team could Talk to each other. In DM I guess you don't need it but in a team game it would be a valuable tactical asset to be able to talk with your team.

I know there is Skype, Teamspeak and Ventrilo but peoples team or clan are not always on at the same time.

Anyway just an idea,  the game is awesome the way it is now too

ppl would be using that for their Second skype LOL

No

That would cause lots of lags. And i don't understand one thing: Why everyone wants to speak with others in game? Writing in Chat is perfect (for me) and does not cause lags

You may prefer to type in a game. I think it would be a tactical advantage to be able to communicate with a team member with out stopping game play to type out a message. Think about it you are being shot at and want to warn a fellow player that he has some one on his back so you stop game play and get destroyed then by the time you are done typing to your team mate they are dead too....You keep typing while I am talking and see who dies first...in that situation your way would take 4-10 seconds if you type fast, my way 1 second and you are still engaging the enemy
